I could have said it better. Every comic on the site is mean to Gohan, besides the two in DBM, where he's really online a bouncer.

I'll criticize plot conveniences (like Vegeta eating XXI's bean) or plot-armor but this wasn't that.

A) blinding him far away is dumb since he would have plenty of time to overcome it

B) it was a way to surprise the readers too. Blinding him wouldn't be a bad move, but it wouldn't be surprising.

in DBM, Gohan always has the worst luck in every single universe but 18 and 16.

Also, killing XXI isn't a choice, or a debate. He will eventually come to their universe, more powerful than he is now.

Maybe he just shrunk the bubble for a second, killing their energy emissions, which is why they're both still Super Saiyan, but no auras.

Anyway, I don't think SS0 Vegeta would fare too badly against Bra SS2. Gohan was somewhere in Bra's ballpark (still weaker, obviously), and SS0 is stronger than Gohan.

Also, so yeah, EoZ Vegeta was really intending to threaten Videl, which again, Vegeta wouldn't do.

Props on taking the time to draw the two scenes from different angles, rather than just copy and paste, which would have been fitting here, since this presumably happened in an instant.

That's the point. Gohan is never more powerful than when something important is on the line.

Plus, Bra no-diffs Gohan. He doesn't belong in the fight against Vegito, and none of the other enemy fighters matter.

We don't really know bra, she's a back burner character, but she'd be like a cousin to Pan. They'd be close.

I love how everyone looks sad, Vegeta is hard to read, and Goku looks sad and determined at the same time.

I checked out the first few pages a few weeks ago, and then left this alone. I just caught up.

I had a lot of criticism last time. Don't worry, I'm not coming here to criticize.

I want to say that the art here is good and much more consistent, and that's really good.

And though the story hasn't really started, it seems like you put a lot of thought into how this story could fit in the timeline while still being interesting.

It looks to me like Vegeta may go on his journey and find himself being a hero and liking it. It'll be fun to see.

Nobody thought this the tournament was going to end it, not since Bardock's vision. It was always clear that the biggest fight would be a real fight, life and death, and probably a many v 1

personally, I'm not bothered that Goku lost. Goku has nothing in his toolkit to fight magic. It's just bothersome that there was no fight.

This is the last actual tournament fight. It would have been nice to see some action, and for XXI to feel pressed.

Outside help has been okay, as long as it occurs outside the ring. The best example would be Zen Buu fixing Uub's arm.

I like this, but for one caveat.

Raditz was doing good work here, so he should have been at full power.

This means, explicitly, that he can't stop a guy who believes himself to be doing good. It means he couldn't stop a few villains in DB and a lot of villains across anime.

But Vegito knows how dangerous XXI is. He sealed Buu, he nearly killed Gast. He sent Vegito away for two hours.

Old Kai, a doppelganger of his, who he acknowledged as trusting, just told him not to do it.

This is probably a storytelling tease but this is immensely dumb of Vegito, especially right after Oldie warned him.

I think most people found fun in the first few pages of this prologue, I had some fun with them too. The last page was a weak stab. This page is just embarrassing.

It's fine that they didn't fight optimally but... well the criticisms have all been made 1000 times.

Are you talking about Chibi? I've never seen anything that was twisting the knife, even in Mini comics. I think it's a bit of self-awareness actually. It picks on everyone (readers, staff, plot armor, Bra herself, a lot!)



For the record Zen, I've always thought of you as pretty decent. I don't always agree, lol, but it's your playground.

Until platforming these last two pages, I've never thought of anyone on DBM's team as spiteful. All pretty good dudes.

I didn't even have an opinion of Sayazur until he got spiteful. I didn't care for what he was doing to my favorite universe, but that's well known and was entirely constructive until that point. Afterwards, I did lob some sarcasm back.

And honestly, the incident gave Batman a lot of dimensions to grow.

In this summary, this does seem wildly silly, but that's okay. A lot of DB would seem wildly silly when explained in a few pages

One cool end would have been if Broly killed Kakkarot, and the shock of it made him drop his form, and Rage-Gohan put his fist through base Broly's chest.

If that's Goten and he's older than videl, he basically has an apartment in the Hyper Cosmic Lion Tamer.
