DBM's version of Broly is now one of my least favorite villains of all time

I think I'm beginning to dislike Broly the older I get. The fandom even to this day still wank him to ridiculous levels. Albeit it's not as toxic as 10, 15, 20 years ago but it's still prevalent. Broly, the Legendary Super Saiyan, is actually one of my favorite movies of all time but while he excels as an unmovable obstacle in that movie, in every other DB related project he's wanked and glazed to high heavens. He's almost as boring as Jiren in most cases but not a complete brainless rage monster like say Big Red Cell or as unpredictable and unorthodox as the Majin Buus.

He's not even supposed to be this strong. It's not like his power is unlimited or he has unlimited stamina like the androids, it's finite. Eventually it caps so all he really has is zenkai boosts to further raise his power level. I know Super's version of Broly is his own person but even he eventually plateaued during his fight with Gogeta. Like it makes no sense. They even combined his LSSJ form with things like SS3 & SS4 in the games. It's not a technique that you can just stack with other super saiyan states. That's not how those transformations work.

IDK he's just not as interesting as the Broly we current have in modern times, who they barely use nowadays.

To this day I think he genuinely wanted Broly's power. I don't read up on the "lore" or novels or whatever for this webcomic but I doubt that he would have an inner monologue to himself just for trolling purposes. If given the chance he would absorb someone if he deems them interesting enough.

NGL outside of the Vargas I never liked a majority of the OC or self insert characters in this webcomic. I'm not entirely a purists either. The audience cameos are harmless and fun but whenever a character is introduced that can effect the plot, is outright OP to the point of being pretentious and nonsensical, or just being a pointless Mary Sue that ends up having no real relevance to the plot, that's when I tend to get annoyed. Like I love this webcomic and I think I'm entitled to such minor criticisms every now and then given that I've been reading it well over a decade now. I think I started around the time when Broly first goes on his rampage. I knew about it even before then when I heard about a what if Cell won against the beam clash against Gohan when some Youtuber mentioned it.

Well anyways I just think as a whole this comic would've been just fine if it didn't include any original characters outside of the Vargas, the audience members and some background characters added to any of the universe specials that are only there to move the plot forward for either exposition or to be canon fodder.

OMG finally! Please let it be over. I'm thankful to everyone that worked on these past stellar chapters and all, I truly am grateful to everyone but I really, really just want to move on with this story. It's been ages for me. It's this and the end of One Piece that drives my will to live. That and my family and friends of course. I ain't that nihilistic.

This is a pretty long fight ngl. It'd be less of a drag if I didn't have to wait a few days in between the next page. It'll be a more enjoyable experience as a revisit or binging the entire fight when it's finally done but for the moment I'm hoping that it gets resolved soon. I don't even care who wins between these two anymore.
