I mean... it does seem very likely that something like this would happen. The kai's of universe 1 have handled their universe perfectly for eons, constantly making decisions that benefit everyone as a whole and keeping everything tame. No extreme bad, but no extreme good either. Even now, they're declaring their gonna ban this technology just because it's dangerous, despite the enormous amount of good it could also do. This is the equivalent of their cheat day after dieting for untold millenia. For once in their lives, they're gonna be selfish.

Well, people can teleport there and sense energy from there in the mortal realm, so the Kaïoshinkaï is probably in the mortal realm, just very far from everything else, and possibly not even in a Galaxy.

Actually Asura didn't draw Cell vs Dabura and Vegetto vs Broly, that was drawn Gogeta Jr. before he retired and Asura took his place (though I think other artists might have filled in between for a bit).

I think we’ll see the same thing that happened with Yakon in the Buu’s saga:
1) Uub throws kamehameha
2) Goku tries to parry it but is overthrown
3) For a brief second Goku uses a new form that only Vegeta can notice and stop the kamehameha
4) Uub exhausted, dies on the ground while Goku back on is base form is the winner and promises him to resurrect him

Is there a chance that Uub would refrain from using whatever Zen Buu taught him in his dream?
On the one hand, he may consider it disrespectful toward Goku to use something extra-tricky.
On the OTHER hand, none of the fighters KNOW that Zen Buu was the one that gave them their boosts/skills, right? Uub may think it's just a random epiphany. I'm really curious to see how this plays out!

I know, I'm a dreamer! But let's see: if we count the first match ending by the end of this chapter in July then we'll have one chapter (2 months) for each fight and if we even consider a special between each of them or even a couple of doubles, by next July or September 2022 we'll see the end of these 4 matches.

Also I don't know why people still believe Bra will lose! She is the ultimate Demon King Piccolo and Gast after acknowledging there is hope for her he will forfeits (like Yamcha with #18) and ask her to win for him!


According to twitch interview fights will be long. No way it is going to take just chapter per fight. Most likely double chapter, I won't be surprised that XXI vs Buu could take up to 3 full chapters. if XXI wins by just sealing away Zen Buu for 30s or some sort of nonsense like that, it would be clear that authors still has no idea what to do with big bad. Which I seriously doubt as from my understanding the creative team was heavily discussing this fight amongst themselves.

I seriously doubt that Zen Buu or even Gast in semi finals are going to figure out XXI's weakness. Besides even if lets say he reveals his true identity during this round and win against Buu, it won't be sudden message to everyone that this is now a major threat that needs to be stopped. Something else besides XXI winning against Zen Buu would click to everyones minds that: yep we need to stop this guy.

If one chapter is ~2months that is 6 chapters per year on average. Since we are getting more special chapters and if I am not mistaken they are more of those than the main storyline ones. So on average: 4 special chapters and 2 mainline per year. If we assume that each fight is going to take double, we can probably assume that we would get 3 mainstory chapters instead of 2.

I say that by the mid of 2023 or at the end of that year we would get to the Bra vs Gast battle.

I dunno man. xxi putting buu away for 30 seconds would be anticlimactic, but that would be in line with xxi's way of doing business.

Then again, I could see xxi doing this and failing.

xxi uses the gast move. buu hides a piece of himself, and dons the armor and returns.

xxi seals him in the black void. hides a piece of himself and returns, again. or the suit negates this.

xxi tries babadis sealing spell. armor, and deflect. other way of avoiding it.

xxi uses the vargas tech to send him back to buus own world. buu already reverse engineered his own version. he returns.

xxi tries overpowering buu in his demon form and 1 shotting him. buu is simply stronger.

xxi goads buu into absorbing him, and releases carbonite into buu. Buu finds all of it and fixes all damage done inside.

xxi tries to take over buu within by being absorbed (somehow?) and whether that could even work I doubt, but suppose xxi packs some kind of data in the puppet that has billions of minds in it that all work to serve xxi, and the amount overwhelms buu because by his own admission he only has "thousands" of people inside him, the billions could be the amount needed. or not.

I could see xxi trying to use a hatchiyack device with tons of souls in it to make warriors to batter buu down and keep him preoccupied, but that'd require another ghost warrior on buus level...like say a zenbuu of another universe who wasn't able to counter gasts move.

So, he could kill zenbuu who never stopped granting wishes in universe 24 (rando number) and ask for him to be all in 1 place to have a "match" with buu not knowing he can contain him like that. kill him with carbonite while in a ball, put the hatred in a hatchiyack, and have the ghost buu study all of gasts moves in u77, take the armor from the heliotes un u119 and use a HTC to let ghost buu advance the tech and magic enough so he's beyond even zenbuu of the tournament.

Could ghost buu absorb stuff? would ghost buu even be ghost zenbuu or kid buu and the ghosts of his victims be seperate?

Based on how Vegeta has reacted to Cell's matches, he seems pretty confidant that he would win. I definitely don't see Cell winning convincingly if he does win. I can see them revealing Vegeta can do SSJ3 now when it looks like he's about to lose, but who knows. Either way I expect that to be good. I guess my official prediction would that Vegeta wins and we get Goku vs Vegeta.

Buu vs XII: Man, idk. XII could pull some shit like just undoing Zen Buu. He's the most unknown quantity in the tournament. Buu is a fan favorite, though. I guess I'll pick Buu, but who knows.

Bra vs. Ghast: I think Bra will win, but it won't be easy for her. She seems like she won't go beserk either, now that things have calmed down.

For the Cell vs Vegeta prediction, it all depends on Vegeta’s new power. Normally, I’d say that Cell would win (and not just because he’s my favorite character) because , apart from his power, his regeneration, his arsenal of techniques, his big boy mode, his Cell Jrs, and his instant transmission. With Vegeta’s new power, I don’t think it’s SSJ3 because it’d be such an obvious choice (and DBM has already described how inefficient the form is), the Mystic/Ultimate form because I don’t see Elder/Old Kai giving it to Vegeta, and a SSJ4/Golden Great Ape related form, since it’s already appeared and I think Salagir would give Vegeta a new/different form (I think).
I also don’t think that Vegeta’s new power would be magic-related (unless it’s like the Mystic/Ultimate form) since he doesn’t seem the type (though again I could be wrong).

Also, this new power could be a technique (I guess?) or an array of techniques. He could have done all that training on Yardrat like in DBS manga (He would be able to grow/shrink in size, and steal someone’s energy by touching them).

With the whole XXI vs Buu thing, I have no idea since we barely know anything about XXI. We do know, however, that he is a very powerful magician (as he’s able to teleport people to pocket dimension things), that he may be the terrible, old foe of Elder/Old Kai, and that he can somehow create items (like with the remote that shut down 18).

Now, even though Buu is a fan favorite (including mine), I think that XXI will somehow win. This is because:
1. In Bardock’s/Baddack’s visions, Buu only appeared once, which ended up being the whole Gast-is-OP revelation scene, but apart from that he doesn’t appear anymore.
Now, I think that XXI either kills Buu (highly unlikely) or that he traps Buu, maybe in his own egg. During the whole Vegetto-rampage visions, Buu wasn’t anywhere to be seen. Now, Buu also said that he’s confident he can beat Vegetto. Buu could obviously be wrong, but if he was, at the end of the fight, Vegetto would be highly injured, which would give everyone else time to knock him out. This would resolve the upcoming “Vegetto arc”. Now, obviously, Buu could be the reason the Vegetto arc takes place in the first place, but, in my opinion, it’d be risky to do that (specially since Vegetto also has a wide array of techniques).

2. Because then, with Buu out the way, XXI can either enrage, provoke or control Vegetto so he goes berserk and get his wish, and the whole Vegetto arc can begin.

With Bra vs Gast, I think Gast will win. First of all, Bra may resign/give up out of shame for what she did. Apart from that, we saw Gast immobilize a SSJ3 Vegetto. He can definitely beat Bra.

This is all theory btw and I could be speaking nonsense.

I was hoping that Broly would win by interrupting whatever plan Buu tried to pull off. Instead, it seems he will win by surviving a black hole, as nonsensical as that is. This is a bit disappointing. Also, Broly died to Carbonite while in Legendary form. He can survive a black hole, but he can't survive Carbonite? How does that work?

Here is the simplest way to write Broly out of this situation without stooping to "more maximumer" power. Increased gravity also means time dilation. Broly is right next to a supermassive blackhole, so time dilation is at a ridiculous level. The tournament takes place in age 794, and these events took place in 786, so if the Vargas have some way of entering a universe and "teleporting" the strongest beings straight to them, then an eight year time skip doesn't mean much. If this is how they acquired Broly, then a minimal amount of damage would have been done to him from the black hole.

The first time Veggeto goes SSJ3 in the ring with Broly, the Vargas mentions that his energy is increasing his density and that Veggeto is generating his own gravity. Spectators begin floating up out of their seats. (this is not uncommon for dragon ball) I wonder if it is possible the Broly may push his power so high that the density of his energy cancels out the black hole. This leaves Broly alive but drained and drifting through space. This is just my theory.

So Broly is invincible so his body doesn't actually tear apart but I still have to wonder how he doesn't get shocked out of LSSJ from something like this. So we can assume that Buu and Broly will pop up on the other side and both will be frozen in space.
