IDK how anyone there could think XXI seems like a good guy after he tried to EAT GAST, even after he had already given up. Oh, right Gast just didn't tell anyone that happened...for some reason.

It never made sense to me for them to take the scouters off. Like I understand not trusting their initial power level, but you would want it on to see any increases when they do go all out. By taking them off you become blind to what their current power is. (Yes, this is nitpicky, and was an issue in the OG manga, not this one!)

So, I think this confirms that the lie Thorn was talking about was that Gero did not kill Gohan. He turned him into an android. Before people thought the lie was that they were able to kill a cyborg, but Krillin confirms here that he did indeed kill one (somehow lol, guessing Kienzan).

I really enjoyed the first part of this special and am looking forward to this. But I gotta admit after what they did to Gast during the last main story section against XXI it has dimmed my excitement a bit. Making Gast stupid just killed his character a bit to me which is unfortunate. I thought this special would tie in somehow to that fight, but it looks like that is not the case, they just made Gast stupid to further the plot along.

I usually don't wanna complain about a free web comic, but the last few weeks have felt like the next part of the story is stuck in perpetual buffering. It doesn't help how the start of the chapter just glossed over XXI breaking the rules and everyone not caring for some reason. Probably the worst chapter since the fallout chapter after the Babidi takeover.

I still can't believe they just glazed over the fact that XXI continued to attack Gast after he gave up and that Gast just didn't tell anyone how threatening XXI is to them all. Like it just makes no sense. It's almost as bad as the post majin Bra chapter (aka the worst chapter in DBM).

So, I guess Gast is not going to tell everyone how XXI continued to attack/consume him after forfeiting? Because it should be obvious to him that XXI is evil and that he is an uncontrollable evil threat. One that SHOULD BE DISQUALIFIED ALREADY. I mean I would not like that to be what happens, it would be lame, but it bugs me that it is just being ignored that it happened. The rules need to be consistent for the stakes to stay high.

I'm still not sure HOW he has not been disqualified? He continued to attack Gast after he gave up which is against the rules. Gast should be telling everyone this. I cannot stand when they have to make other characters stupid in order to move the plot along. Not following your own established rules only makes the story weaker and harder to take seriously.

Uhh...so Gast is just not going to tell them all that XXI attacked him after forfeiting and is 100% evil and a huge threat? Not going to tell them all XXI tried to EAT him? No? I will give it a few more pages to see if he has anything else to say but if he never brings any of that up...that will be a pretty bad miss and will make Gast look really stupid. It will be completely jarring to the story and really take me out of it tbh.

Interesting. I am not sure in true canon Gohan could ever be made to become evil. Although I doubt he is here. More edge to him and aggressive sure, but I really doubt full on evil. Also, I doubt Vegeta would let him live the first time he sees his rage boosts. He would immediately see him as a threat.
The only cavate to that is if he thinks he could use him one day to take down Freeza. Although I would still have my doubts since Vegeta wants to be the one to do it himself one day. Still, I am very interested either way, this isn't canon so no reason to think about it too hard lol 1 Odpowiedzi

Man I hope this was part of some plan Gast had. Because between Buu killing him and XXI making him look like a terrified child, he has been knocked down to look like a wimp almost as much as Vegito has. Crazy how the 2 strongest and coolest/badass characters at the start have turned into chumps.
Also I do wonder, if that Namek heard Gast, then wouldn't he have also heard XXI continue to attack/consume Gast after he forfeited? I mean he did tell Gast basically that they can't hear you so I'm not stopping. Wouldn't that have made him lose by DQ? 2 Odpowiedzi

I really hope this doesn't end with XXI consuming Gast. He just died and was resurrected just a few chapters ago. Dying again so quickly would really make him look weak. Also, it would kind of kill the hype of his ongoing special (which I love so far btw).

Wouldn't these enemies actually be androids and not cyborgs? They are all 100% artificial (Except Gero, he is a Cyborg). It's like the opposite of the dub issues lmao. Also, I really don't see how they would be able to kill 1 of them. Krillin is the strongest and is AT BEST around Captain Ginyu strength (120,000). Remember this Krillin did not get his potential unlocked by the Grand Elder, so he would be far behind his U18 counterpart. Really, he shouldn't be any higher than 30,000 imo here. So, unless Bulma came up with some tech to help, I just don't see how they did. Very interested to see where this goes.

Maybe it is implied in the main timeline, the Z Fighters were able to hold off 19/20 (Piccolo and Vegeta maybe could be enough to at least give them trouble), so 20 runs away and activates 17/18 who then slaughter everyone. In this timeline since only Gohan and Krillin remain, nobody could stop them so 17/18 were never activated.

I really wanted to see a Goku vs Gast final since Goku beating XXI in the tourny #1 wouldn't make much sense tbh, and 2 I think as the main villain of the series he deserves to be treated as such. It needs to be a group effort to take him down and being a tournament match makes that impossible. I would be fine with Goku being the one to finally end him, but he shouldn't solo him 1v1. I hope Gast wins here, XXI retreats to come up with a new way to get the dragon balls (F the tournament Babidi style) and then attack at the end after Goku beats Gast in the finals. I know XXI hasn't technically won yet, but come on it is obvious. They would not show Gast being so out of breath if he wasn't going down the next page.

I think it would be cool if they explain that because XXI killed everyone in U5 that Janembas hate is way higher than the movie and is therefore way stronger. Really that is the only way it would make sense for Janemba to compete with Gast. Remember Gast killed Buu in his universe, who is stronger than Janemba (or at least comparable) with a way better healing factor. They gotta do something to make it close. Still cool as hell to see this though.

I guess I don't see the point of this comic. We know Broly kills them all (again) in the end. So, it just is going to show us that all of our heroes not only die but are erased from existence and can't even enjoy the afterlife. Is this to show us that Broly literally destroys everything in Universe 20, including the afterlife? So literally nothing exists there except Broly? Just seems so bleak, I don't see the appeal. Sorry to come off as negative.

100% he goes to attack next page, but SSJ3 runs out right before he strikes. Raditz and Kakarotto will then kill him and make Nappa their slave. Thus, will end the adventures of U13 sadly (except for specials showing the past). My only question left still is WHEN is this supposed to be occurring? Is it a time skip after I'K'Ls attack? If so, we don't see Vegito if I recall. I wonder if that means he is actually dead and has not been revived yet before this all goes down shortly after the attack.

Could not agree more about Bra. She is the worst character in the series. Unfortunate she is such a major character in it. Hell she’s almost the main character at this point.
I am a bit disappointed we did not get to see Vegitos reaction to her quitting the fight. Regardless I am glad she is out at the very least.

I really don't like complaining about free, fan made things like this because I really have enjoyed finding and reading this whole comic. But I really, really do not like how this whole arc ended. I just can't believe nobody else is upset with her other than Vegito and Pan, and then making Vegito look like the bad guy for getting upset??? Once Gohan is revived he better not just forgive her for cutting him in two, and making Piccolo explode.
