Why didn’t U18 Bulma or Krillien come to at least watch the tournament? You’d think that they would at least want to watch. I mean it just makes sense that Bulma would want to at least see the Vargas technology, and Krillien has always been supportive even if he can’t directly compete in combat.

Imagine if he pulls out Ginyu’s body change and just steals Gast’s body.

I mean yes, but that Broly probably can’t survive in the vacuum of space. He also never threatened all of existence just by powering up, and he didn’t wipe out 99% of all life on earth just by throwing a stray ki blast. And although he did get stronger as he moved through his forms, he clearly hit a wall where he wasn’t getting any stronger. We then learn later in the Manga that he has begun trying, something that DBM Broly wouldn’t need to do because he just keeps on getting stronger just by existing.

I’m saying that based on the general feeling and what we are actually seeing, this Broly has greater observable feats than Super Broly. At this point we are literally describing a Broly that is stronger than the one in the Super Broly movie.

That Broly couldn’t get infinitely stronger just by existing, at the end of the movie we can see the limits of his power, and that he would need to train if he was going to get any stronger.

Was there any bits of older official media that implied this is how Broly actually worked? That he would just keep getting stronger and stronger without end just by existing and that he never needs to actually train like every one else does?

I need a clarification on the rules of the tournament here.

If Goku brought a Hoipoi capsule with him, and placed Gohan into the capsule, then when the fight starts, he throws the capsule down to bring out Gohan who fights for him, is that cheating? It was just Goku and a capsule containing Gohan that entered the arena.

What about Saibamen? Would planting Saibamen during the battle be against the rules?

Back to the capsule idea. What if the entity you put into the capsule was an entirely robotic being, like android 19, android 16, or Metal Cooler. We’ve seen from universe 19 that you can bring andvanced weapons with you. And that first guys rockets were AI targeting. So can it be argued that an Android like number 19 is mearly a weapon like Trunks sword? So could summoning forth an Android through a Hoipoi capsule, or some other means be legal?

Actually, if Metal Cooler was in this tournament, what would be the rules about one consciousness controlling multiple bodies? Could multiple Coolers enter the fight? Or does it just have to be one body? Could the Big Gete star itself count as Metal Cooler’s body, and one body of his would just be akin to like a piece of his greater self, in which case could multiple Metal Coolers enter the battle together? I mean we know that Buu entered into the battles with just fractions of himself and his other parts were doing other things, so I actually don’t see the Metal Cooler situation as being much different.

XxI missed the perfect opportunity to win this. When Gast has the shards embedded in him, that’s when he should have trapped Gast in another dimension. Easy win. But now that opportunity is gone.

I actually like this explanation better than the idea that Trunks coming back somehow caused a butterfly effect that made 17 and 18 stronger. But, yeah. Toriyama most likely was just going with the time travel butterfly effect explanation. The android arc was rewritten like 3 times while he was making it lol.

(Did you know that in the original Manga, Trunks actually says that the names of the androids that killed everyone are 19 and 20. Then later when he comes back he says that those aren't the right androids and that the real threat are the teenage androids with black and blond hair. BUT when Trunks travels back to the future to kill his androids, those androids identified themselves as 17 and 18. Not 19 and 20. Meaning that Toriyama fully retconned himself on his first description of the future androids.)

Okay so how would you describe the difference in personality between This Buu, and Universe 17 Cell? To me they sort of act similarly, except for the fact that Buu is like 10 orders of magnitude stronger than Cell. And is thus more cocky, and egotistic. Does anyone else kind of find the Idea of Broly gaining power infinitely (Just by existing) to be ridiculous?

I mean that's definitely not how it works in Super, as we see that Broly has domesticated himself and is participating in training alongside the other fighters. (Training being one of the traditional ways to gain power)

But Yeah I know, DBM was started before Super and this comic is based on DBM's logic.

But even in the first movie I never got the impression that Broly had infinite power. We actually see a scene in the movie where Broly generates so much power that he can't contain it all and erupts off of his body in a shower of Energy blasts that desecrate the landscape around them. To me, this was a clear indication that Broly's body could only hold so much power. So even if he could generate more energy, he wouldn't be able to effectively use it if his body lacked the strength to contain it all.

Also, although Broly was really strong in each movie he showed up in. I never got the impression that he was Continuously gaining power with no end in sight. To the point where it created hopeless dread in the hero's eyes. (Oddly enough the closest I think we come to this is the Super Broly movie, as he just kept getting stronger to stay a match for the fighters as they went through their transformations, but even in that movie we see a clear Limit to Broly's power as he was obviously outmatched by Gogeta Blue.)

Basically I just think the Idea of Broly gaining power for just existing and not even training is a little absurd.

We know from the text fiction that Raichi sent ghost clones to Universe 10 to eliminate the Saiyan's. So given what we know about Universe 4 Buu. Why wouldn't he sneak particles of himself on the ships that travel back to the other Universes, if only just to see the other Universes for himself.

Now I'm not sure when those ships return back to the tournament universe. But might there be a possibility that Buu could return through one of those ships that was taking the participants back home when they no longer wanted to stay in the tournament. 1 Replie(s)

A form that lets them replicate the state they were in when they were dead but re-embodied. Goku did say one time that Super Saiyan 3 worked better when he was dead due to his dead body having better Stamina or something.

So what if they could replicate that state of being while still being alive.

Imagin if this state didn't really boost power but instead massively boosted stamina and thus allows them to sustain their high-Power Transformation states for even longer, or could potentially push those transformed states to the max.

We already saw that the other Buu's, the one's dressed like Magician assistance were sucked into the cocoon along with Buu. So all Buu like creatures should count as part of Buu and be sent back to Universe 4 when the send back happens.
