It's a puzzle to me that this worked on Gast. Vegeta had no problem taking out Android 19.

I'm wondering if this is the final straw for Vegito. Maybe he'll finally snap and go on the foreseen rampage.

The varga asks a good question. Is he even the same species as his mother?
He looks like his dad was buu.

You couldn't be more wrong. Think of two equal buckets of water. One bucket has a tap with heavy flow, the other has a tap with low flow. Obviously, low flow will last the longest. This form is low flow - they maximize use of ki. But at the end of the day, when you run out of ki, you run out of ki. If one of them were SSJ3, they would have run out of ki long ago.
The bucket full of ki isn't a bad idea but it's not a great analogy. I'd go with: SSJ3 is a bucket full of ki with a large hole in it. This form has no hole and that's what makes it different from SSJ3. 1 Respuesta(s)

Weird to block an attack with only two fingers especially since it looks like a fairly large attack..
Goku being able to channel all his power through two fingers doesn't strike me as unusual for dragon ball. Heck, there are multiple deadly beam attacks that only use one or two fingers.
Usually when they struggle against a ball of ki with their palms, it's because the ball of ki is far stronger than they are. 2 Respuesta(s)
This is getting me hyped for a Gogeta appearance.

In DBZ it was mentioned that the Potara-Fusion is supposed to be noticeably more powerful than the Dance Fusion, right ?
Do you recall when? I don't remember that at all. 1 Respuesta(s)

A little lame that they BOTH unlocked it.
Goku went SSJ first, Vegeta achieved it later.
Vegeta got ASSJ, Goku figured out MSSJ and SSJ2 for Gohan in half the time.
Vegeta gets SSJ2 after Gohan, Goku already has SSJ3.
Goku is always one step ahead. That is canon. Vegeta said it himself during Buu saga (and also DBS). Hope he still 1 ups Vegeta here.

I don't see the issue.
Vegeta unlocked SSJ2 during the time skip between Cell and Buu sagas after seeing Gohan do it. This is the same thing but with mystic.
All we need now is for Goku to be secretly hiding a long-haired version of this form, and it's a carbon copy of the buu saga.

Yup, no wonder Salagir said DBS stole his idea.
This is basically Ultra Instinct
This is basically Ultra Instinct
If I recall correctly, part of Whis' training was to stop leaking their ki and that was when they first transformed into blue. When they trained inside Whis' staff, the staff wouldn't let them move at all if they leaked any ki.
Ultra instinct is not about containing ki. It's about moving without thinking.

They even plagiarize DBM by showing future Trunks using USSJ and shifting to Ssj trick when he spars vegita
I think that's actually from Toyotaro's old works, before he become Toriyama's successor.
Honestly, Vegeta winning this just wouldn't be dragon ball's style.
I would like Vegeta to beat Goku in Toriyama's works, not in a fan series.

Trunks needing a time machine is a plot device lol
So true.
The main cast in Future Trunks timeline just completely lost all intelligent thought because the plot demanded it.

Since 17 and 18 wiped out all of humanity, Cell can't gather enough strength to fight and then absorb them. They could possibly kill Cell unless he decides to train.
They already killed Cell.
After Trunks failed to return, Bulma found Cell. But a silent alarm brought the androids there and they killed both Bulma and larval Cell.
JacobZ comentó:
Cell only kills Trunks because Trunks killed the Androids already. So the timeline these evil Androids are from is where the Androids simply hunted Trunks and killed him, then destroyed Cell before he could wake up
I don't know what's so difficult to understand about this.
Universe 14's Future Trunks went back in time to Universe 17 where Gohan was defeated by Perfect Cell. So Future Trunks never returned to his own timeline and no one stopped the androids.
Ammar comentó:
He's dead. Android 18 killed him in the lab.
That's a really weird explanation. After Trunks failed to return, she just randomly went back to the lab and discovered the secret basement? 1 Respuesta(s)
DrewSaga comentó:
Trunks killed Cell in his Imperfect Form actually in U12.
I think Kongming5 was asking about Universe 14.
Universe 14's Trunks time traveled to Universe 17 and died. He never returned to universe 14, so the androids are still alive, and Imperfect Cell should be too.
I don't think there is an official explanation of what happened to that Cell. 1 Respuesta(s)

Probably an oversight. Or maybe he picked ir up from the martial artist on earth. It's kinda a bummer that stuff like suppressing/shifting ki and sensing ki being a rare skill is sorta thrown out in fanworks. Though I don't blame them its very common in the series so its easy to forget.
It's not an oversight. Kakarotto learned both of them on Earth. He taught Raditz. Pages 1130 and 1131.
RockyJoe comentó:
How the hell did Kakarott ever learn to sense energy if he didn't train under Karin or Kami?
Presumably the same way Vegeta did. Vegeta just heard it was possible and started trying it out for himself. An arc later he was competent enough to dispose of his scouter.
Jubjub comentó:
Also, while it's technically a Salagir invention, there's a lot of merit to it being true (at least before DBS). By the Buu saga, #18 is shown to be comparable to kid Goten and Trunks as SSJs. That's a significant step down from being able to manhandle SSJ Vegeta. By the Bio Broly movie she literally performs at a similar level as Goten OR Trunks as SSJs
In the manga, when "mighty mask" went super saiyan, 18 dodged one ki blast and then immediately ended the fight by cutting "mighty mask" in half. There was no reason to assume they're comparable to her in strength.
If you go by the utter nonsense in the films and anime then you could make a case for all kinds of nonsense. Those writers never even tried to be consistent.
Jubjub comentó:
Then there's the obvious points Future Trunks brings up about his Androids being less powerful than the earlier versions despite these potentially having less time to get modified
The androids appeared on the exact same day in both timelines. In Future Trunks timeline Goku had already died of the heart virus. After Goku died Gero had no reason to keep working on them. But in the main timeline Goku was still alive on that day. So the main timeline androids do have a reason to be stronger. 1 Respuesta(s)

I love the way the Saiyans look here, especially Kakarot and Raditz. A lot of the folks I see creating Dragon Ball Fan-Fiction tend to base the character designs off Yamamuro's old style, so it's nice seeing someone remembering the early Z-Style exists because I love it so much lol.
Yet Vegeta just looks normal for some reason? Early Z Vegeta had a giant forehead.
I never really thought about how bad this would be for Future Trunks. Cell, Frieza, the androids, and multiple evil Vegetas are all in this tournament.

Does every multiverse have its own alternate and or future timeliness or do they all correlate the same? I'm confused
The characters seem to believe that alternate timelines and alternate universes are the same thing.
But considering Zen Buu hasn't returned to the tournament (yet), the characters could be wrong.

Vegito probably could one-shot Buu's body. But I doubt that's going to get him anywhere when Buu is scattered all over the place.

Grand Supreme Kai seriously believes Buu is unstoppable to the point of not even trying? Gast's technique surely could have just ended Buu.

How does he control it while he's sealed? If there's any magical residue of his left behind, Gast should be able to easily remove it.
He may not be controlling it. He could have just broken it before his fight. He could easily fix it later. There's also the question of - would being forced to return to his universe even stop him? He has been around this tech for a while and there's no reason to believe he can't copy it.
I'm not sure I like the idea of Cell's core moving around. He's not got a Buu-like body or anything.
I understand the need for an explanation. After all, Cell famously regenerated his upper body despite his core officially being in his head, but I prefer the idea that Cell has more than one core. It seems more fitting for an insect-like monster. 1 Respuesta(s)

Cell has the unique and nonsensical ability to regain all his stamina after a full body regeneration and a zenkai. Namekians/saiyans would need to recover after regeneration/zenkai. But not Cell.
