My guess is it’s a way of conveying how fast they are. Instead of showing them trade a few punches, we see the fight much further along. It’s pretty cool, just a bit concerned the fight will feel rushed if I am right.

Not sure how I feel about this page. On one hand it gets pretty sick, on the other hand it feels like a mortal combat knock off. I guess it has to be this way in order for the series to progress, but it dissect feel very vegeta like Izumi.
