DB Multiverse has given us what Dragon a ball Super SuperHero couldn’t by showing us a full on battle of base Goku and vegeta (I know it’s their Max power unleashed form in DBM but they’re basically base) with a different ending

I actually love this. It reminds me of Naruto vs Sasuke in a way. But even more just raw and straight up. No super fancy tricks or stalling the fight. Just them, at their peak, in their rawest element. Just fighting. Not thinking of anything but winning. Nothing else matters. There’s no consequence for death. There’s just them. In their ultimate rivalry. The only thing that would probably make this better for them is if they could do this across the entire planet and even in outer space itself. Essentially what their final battle would be, kinda like how Toriyama described it in his dragon ball online history.
This fight has made me emotional. This feels like how a real fight between them should be.

I understand Frieza not training. But Nail staying at 42,000 and recoome at 45,000 just doesn’t sit right with me. In 31 years NOBODY got stronger? Not even Nail??? Hi. You must be new here. The special chapters are done every other chapter or so, sometimes 2-3 in a row, which gives us insight on the backstory for the universes present at the tournament. It gives the main chapter artist(s) time to work on the pages so they can keep releasing them at the rate they do.
This one specifically is seemingly about the Universe 9(?) story, which may be because Ultimate Raditz may be appearing soon along with the humans. It’s unknown at this point. Sometimes the special chapters are unrelated to what’s going on (thats rare)

2 people have mentioned King Piccolo having a cloak when that was exclusive to Junior…. But piccolo has always had a cape/cloak. It was similar to Kami’s in the kanzenban art. And it was a red cape in the anime. The shoulder pads here are almost inconsequential

Why does a child crying automatically mean (to you guys) that we need to feel sympathy for her? How is it bad writing to show a moment like this? Is she still supposed to be like “bwahaha I killed!!! Am stronk”. No. That would be bad writing.

I didn’t get to reply to Invader Jim’s comment on the last minicomic but I’ll reply here. Getting a warning of mini comics throughout the chapter wouldn’t have lost the desired effect if they had announced it at the chapter’s start. There was no heads up for this, especially 2 in a row, but they alerted us of the ones prior to the chapter start... it’s just bad practice I think. But I’ma still read
