I went back and re-read the end of the Goku/Vegeta fight. Bra seems more impressed with SSJ0 or SSJ Normal or whatever it is called than this suggested. Vegetto has a thought about still being "infinitely stronger", but it sounds a lot like arrogance more than a reasonable assessment. Regardless, we all want SSJ3 Vegetto v SSJ0 Gogeta so fingers crossed! Maybe we can get a Gast v XXI rematch with Zen Uub in the mix.

In Super, it seemed that Black was amused by Trunks who was, as far as Black knew, the second strongest fighter in the universe at that point. He believed he was the absolute peak of strength and power. When he arrived at the tournament, he thought it would be the same, that everyone would see him as the supreme, most powerful being, and that he would easily win by crushing everyone with his might.
But then he ran into XXI, a magician who didn’t use brute force—just a simple spell that eliminated him from the tournament without him being able to do anything. Later, during Babidi's rebellion, when everyone was sent to a planet with a poisonous atmosphere, instead of Vegetto saving them, it was Gast who, using his magic, created a breathable atmosphere and cleared the poison from everyone's lungs. Everyone turned to Gast with gratitude, while Vegetto was left lost on that planet, unable to return or help anyone, feeling completely useless.
Then, after Buu found the location and they returned, Vegetto learned that Bra had killed everyone. Enraged, he blindly tried to kill her, but despite being in SSJ3, Gast stopped him with magic and left him lying on the ground, unable to move a single finger. Everyone in the tournament judged him and looked down on him. To make matters worse, Buu fixed the whole situation and revived everyone with a mere snap of his fingers.
The one who believed himself to be the superior being was not only physically humiliated but also saw that others no longer looked to him as their savior. Instead, they turned to Gast and Buu, admiring them solely for their magical powers. And after all that, I’K’L appeared, and after Vegetto challenged him to try killing him, he simply blinked—and ONCE AGAIN, Vegetto was defeated using magic.
So yeah, Vegetto is really really mad and about to explode at everyone and everything.

Gast is lying there figuring out how to duplicate the technique while the androids skim some energy off the top. Learning how to absorb another's energy leads to figuring out how to disperse another's energy as he did against Vegitto. The fourth panel on page 2422 wasn't an exhausted face- it was an O face from instantly knowing how incredibly useful this technique will be later on.

I don't know, man. Seems like Piccolo waiting around until he is old again is the least wise decision since letting Bracca leave to get robot body parts and plot revenge. Also, Piccolo likes kids. Wut? Hedo presumably witnessed/recorded the Goku vs Moro fight on Earth. That or possibly the Frieza Gold fight. He then made the Gammas strong enough to beat Goku using UI or at the least SSJB. Potential Unleashed Piccolo was able to put up a fight against that power level, and Piccolo Orange bodied Gamma 2. It's safe to say he wildly exceeds every one of the power levels you listed.
That said, the DBS is quickly catching up to the events of Blancoverse, and power scaling has been pure nonsense in DBS. Why can someone make androids as powerful as the strongest mortal in the multiverse? Because! Why does Piccolo apparently have potential rivaling the gods but hasn't shown any progress in a decade? Because! How are characters with no apparent god ki able to hang with those with god ki? Because! Why wasn't Krilling immediately killed when Cell Max hit him? Because! It's kinda hard to take any power scaling in Super seriously, as everything seems to be a next-level upgrade. Even though fights could destroy the universe ten upgrades ago. That and vague statements.
Still, if Piccolo was correct (hahahahahaha, just kidding, he's been Toriyama's whipping boy for decades) about the Gammas being on par with Goku and Vegeta, which makes sense that would be their creator's goal, Piccolo is a next-level step above that. I'm not seeing the tactical advantage here. The frost demons show up and they're like "hey, we thought you guys were on Planet Alfie, but we found you on Planet Betti instead... our minds are blown and we can't fight now"? Or is this supposed to be an ambush? Frost demons have scouters and armies. Plus everyone who knows anything about Bojack would gladly rat him out (from a safe distance).

I have long wanted Piccolo to up his weighted clothing game. Sure, as an earth-bound slug man, his options were limited. Though over the years, you'd think at some point one of the super scientists, his own magic people, or literal gods he hangs around would offer to make him some clothes of an absurd weight. Heavy to the point where him dropping it on the ground from chest height would instantly crater the surface. Having to constantly focus so he doesn't fall through the ground or destroy everything around him would be very on-brand for Piccolo.

Even if Piccolo's power has dropped significantly, he's a member of the Silver Horde now. He's seen it all. Every punch, kick, energy blast, "secret" technique - he's been there, done that. He knows the best and next ten best counters to your every move and the next three moves you will make. Imagine fighting someone like that who has had CENTURIES to work on their Hellzone. This has been a fantastic fight with many quality callbacks. It would be a nice sideways nod to the Maijin duel to have Goku sit on another level for the entire fight but then actually get to use it in the end. I like it. I would also like it if "angel powers" were something regular humans can tap into, so Tien can be relevant. That and someone train Gotenks. Gotenks, figure out Super Fusion or something. Now 18 go find out how 17 got so strong, and you get that strong.

I know that it is almost certainly because Vegetta and Goku are tired and losing energy, but until I see the next page I'm going to spin a fan-fan-fic in my mind that Pan instinctively learned how to mimic the Uber-Mystic-Whatever form and is now chugging along at full power while perfectly calm.

The whole point of the Hellzone attack is that they can't run. Piccolo surrounds them so every angle is covered. Why would Piccolo make a worse version of his attack?

More importantly, this statement does not gel with DBM, Super, or any concept of a multiverse that anyone has spent an appreciable amount of time thinking about.

The only thing I'd maybe change is to reverse the roles on the pinball attack on 2183. It would've made a nice contrast with the more focused, I want to win not just ragdoll my opponent (read: show off), attack on 2187. It also would've made the fight a little more balanced as Goku had the upper hand for most pages.
Still, great stuff all around. Did we get an official word on eye color and the name of this state? My hopes are gold and "omega" as a nice little nod to the-series-that-never-happened and that this form is, by its nature, literally the last form a fighter will ever need. 2 Replie(s)

It also seems distinct from Mystic. It's earned, temporary, takes focus, and even Mystic bled energy.
"Zero State" (or just "Zero") or possibly "Omega" if this form is as end-all as it seems. Goku Omega. Vegeta Zero. Maybe that's what the Z stood for all along.

The clothes aren't nearly damaged enough for this to be the end. Goku still has part of his upper gi, Vegeta's pants are intact, and Vegeta's upper body is lacking battle damage. Also, someone needs to unleash the "ki blasts everywhere" attack we see in the first/last panel.
My guess- Vegeta gets hit next, Counters hard, Goku hits back (probably energy blasting here), then Vegeta's next attempt at a counter gets the coup de gras hit. At a minimum.

This page would fit great in my yet-to-be-written (read: never) fanfic follow-up to DBZ (post-Buu, pre-Uub) where the Z warriors start to figure out how to make themselves Mystic or a similar state. Piccolo would be first because he's got Kami mojo. Vegeta and Goku get frustrated. Then Tien goes Mystic. The frustration turns to desperation so the two decide to train under Elder Kai along with Goten, Trunks, and Krillin. Krillin says something about "maybe I'll be the strongest one here" and Vegeta almost dies of rage/shame.
