That's... not an accurate portrayal of Bulma, to say the least. The worst she has shown was trying to shoot Goku in self defense in chapter 1, which was more about being funny than portraying her moral core. Is Bulma a selfless superhero? No, why would she be? Is she a bad person? Fuck no. She has always been supportive, thoughtful, caring for her friends... Even daring, since she was willing to go to Namek despite the two months trip, just to help revive their friends. We've also seen her being nice to strangers like the Namekians, and responsible when it comes to the fate of the Earth with the Gero situation.
Bulma is basically your standard good person wrapped in the comedic package of "whiny city girl". She gets bonus points for being the heart of Dragon Ball by triggering the meeting that started it all, and saving the future by building a fucking time machine just because Goku represented HOPE that much for her.

Ah gotcha. So moments of significance only need to be serious when YOU see fit. When they support your views on the narrative. Your complaints now make a lot more sense.

Also he’s right in saying Bulma wasn’t a good person. She may have changed in Z but he just described her og dragon ball personality to a perfect T. The entire first arc of DB is Bulma using the same child she attempted to kill (yes I realize he flipped her car. Doesn’t change the fact that she had no hesitation in unloading rounds into what looked like a damn near toddler) as a meat shield while she hunted for a Bf. Then she tried to offer him sexual favors despite, again, looking way younger than the average human of his own age.
You’re views on a ‘bad person’ are twisted if she’s anything but.

He survived losing fights for more than a decade, but somehow managed not to get a single meaningful zenkai. He also never even knew that Trunks existed until they bumped into each other. This is a Gohan who hasn’t seen proper training since he was like 9 years old. He’s incredibly book smart, but when it comes to a fighting? He’s an idiot compared to his father.
He only managed to go SSJ2 in the main timeline through rage/loss. In the future? He’d already lost almost everyone he cared about before he’d even gone SSJ1 (except Mom and Grandpa)
As for the Trunks thing? I’ve… got no idea. Maybe he just thought it wasnt worth it? Maybe he he was just dead set on not dragging anyone else into the dark depression that he faced as earths defender? Plenty of potential reasons

Most realistic take on how Gohan would likely handle his teen years. I always felt they should’ve played with Future Gohan’s inner turmoil a bit more.
Can’t imagine why you all hate character development so much. This is the most interesting Gohan-related story since Z ended.

I loved this entire chapter and this is the first page I’ve had any real issues with.
I get breaking his hand as well. I get that a skull is the more durable bone… but the implications made here are that Vegeta just dramatically increased the force and momentum behind Goku’s impact and drove all of that power directly into the center of his own forehead. He literally made it harder than Goku could likely muster on his own at this point… and just winced it off like nothing.
Idk. Unless Vegeta collapses unconscious at the start of the very next panel, I personally feel this just kills everything. It now feels like Vegeta’s durability or strength is like several times higher than Goku’s or something. It feels like the only way Goku could win is by waiting for Vegeta to tire. We already know his attacks aren’t gonna do anything at all.

Only problem is this is entirely your opinion and not a fact. It doesn’t negate anything related to the transformation. It’s still a justifiable way to use their super Saiyan power more effectively. You’re acting like they made some sacred vow to never use transformations that caused energy-dump/harm again. We’ve literally seen both of them casually go into SSJ3. Vegeta did it just to show off/make a point. They still needlessly waste energy. This form doesn’t mean anything special has changed in their views- they’re still gonna do what they deem as the best option. They’ve already shown that.
Like I said- you have no point, you have an opinion…which is 100% clouded by bias.
Kaioken is justifiable because this form is so easy on the body. If your answer is some argument about the narrative meaning…I do not care.

I’m just saying, if Goku uses the Kaioken, everyone who referred to this as ‘protagonist plot armor’ or anything of the like needs to apologize.
It’s not plot-armor or some random ass-pull. The Kaioken makes a lot of sense. It probably makes more sense than literally any other option in this instance- especially if this new form is intended to remove the strain added by transformations. He feels closer to his base form now than he ever has as a super Saiyan. The Kaioken is completely justifiable.
And for those who are saddened that this might end in a similar fashion to their first fight? Sorry, but not that much. You are literally reading a fanmade manga about multiple what-if scenarios for a franchise that has gone an entirely different direction. Stop pretending this entire comic isn’t literally fan service. You want fan-service, just the same as everyone else. Only difference is… you want fan-service related to less explored concepts in DB, while most want fan service more akin to classic DBZ combat. You’re not better- you’re just quirky and kinda opinionated about your takes. Lmao
