The symbols on the bomb label it as nuclear and it’s a big mushroom cloud explosion. Potentially dangerous to androids/cyborgs but really an unknown. 16 was said to have a neutron bomb that even Cell wouldn’t be capable of surviving at point blank/very close range if he were caught in the explosion. I’m not sure if the description of the weapon was just an English dub thing though. This may or may not be effective in killing or even damaging one of them. Will just have to wait for the next one to see.

Well now interesting. Buu naturally wants to be seen as a proper individual not beholden to anyone or anything. Also not surprising there is still genuine love for Mr. Satan and Videl within him. Some from Gohan, and much from he himself. The other Earthlings may have no choice but to accept Buu’s gracious offer of a shared meal. 18 is their strongest remaining warrior and even all the rest together would be nothing before Buu. Buu still has genuine like for them, it would be best for the remaining crew to not squander that good will and ruin it for the rest of humanity

Armored torso, dragon like head, face, mouth…. Still going with an evil/shadow/dark dragon of some variety. Hard to tell if it is preparing a counter to Gast’s blast in the form of a mouth fired blast, or potentially trying to eat Gast’s ki blast. Looking forward to the next page

So XXI either is, or is in part a shadow dragon or dark dragon of some kind. Also it looks like Gast is back up to his feet inside that smoke cloud obscuring him from view. May still have fight in him yet. I’m looking forward to how this progresses even though I believe whatever happens will happen quickly

It’ll certainly be interesting to find out if there’s anything that actually makes Mr. Satan a real hero in this universe as he’s claiming. Also all those saying Videl uses that helmet to virtually control the captured cyborg have got to be dead on right on that one. Seems the only option that makes sense there.

Buu of course wants to be his bad self. He wants his created to be evil and destroy and sow suffering and fear ways, only now with genius intellect, to be dominant and doesn’t want the Kais or Saiyans, Picollo, Bulma within him to make him good. I suspect Buu will also find just being the feared destroyer and nothing else to be unsatisfying and beneath him before long. It’ll happen that way even if he still gets a real kick out of a good rampage here and there. I wouldn’t have expected Videl to have arrived at that planet to hunt Buu so soon, but it can’t come as too much of a surprise. Previous specials on Buu U4 reveal that she shows up finding him wherever he is demanding he give her Gohan back. How she got the tech and the spaceship I could only imagine without Bulma. Maybe Dr. Briefs and the rest of Capsule Corp developed it for her. Buu essentially tells her “it doesn’t work that way” and sends her home without any fanfare or dire consequences.

Absolutely love seeing Buu branching out in his desires and experiences while still being Buu. Looking forward to more

I have greatly enjoyed the story of Zen Buu. Phenomenal, looking forward to more to see between Buu leaving Earth through the beginning of DBM tournament. Bulma and Kaioshin maybe be nothing in power next to Buu, but Buu is well intelligent enough to not pass up opportunities to pick up new and interesting techniques and divine abilities and further increase that keen intellect. Positive he’s even got a Dragon or 3 in there. Knowing what his wish would be sure would be interesting

Ha! Victory for Vegeta! Hilarious that he still apparently stomped both enhanced Raditz and Kakarotto. Was going back and forth on the outcome of this chapter but it was all a vision after all. Still quite amusing either way

Don’t quite know how I feel about this. What’s gonna happen with them now? Vegeta looks to be in very bad shape, but he’s still alive and surprisingly hasn’t been knocked out of Super Saiyan 3. He can’t have much gas left in the tank. Old Kai can just waive his hands in a magic gesture and undo the Potara because they haven’t been fused long enough to be a stable fusion. Raditz mystic power up seems like a dead end. No real idea how strong he is now. Raditz claimed to be strong enough to beat the Ginyu Force 5 on 1 without transforming to a Great Ape. With the comment about Nappa and the shoes in his teeth, that’s all Raditz talking there and Nappa was still stronger before the mystic boost. Raditz felt the boost was a massive increase but Old Kai told him it wouldn’t be enough to take Vegeta at SS3. So now, somewhere between stronger than U13 Nappa, weaker than Vegeta’s SS3, unknown if strong enough to keep immortal Kakarotto (weak SS2) in line. The birdies are gonna send U13 home. Gonna assume without healing anyone first. Raditz and Kakarotto look like they can easily still fight and will need to kill Vegeta immediately upon returning home before Vegeta can regain his bearings. If the Vargas and Namekians want to stick it to Old Kai for interfering, they heal Vegeta before sending them back. Of course that would mean the immediate death of Raditz upon return and severe punishment of Kakarotto. Guess it could go either way

Am I supposed to read this as IKL intends to kill not just all the the participants and their parties as well as the Vargas for having invented the multiverse travel tech, but also the civilians there just to watch? Or is it read as IKL is saying they feel less bad about stomping 16 because now he has (unintentionally) killed civilians? If the first is true IKL despite seeing themselves as a great protector is an absolute monster of the highest order. If it’s the second way, I can’t really understand why the moral implication would matter at all to IKL as they would have sought to destroy 16 anyway during this whole purge they are attempting to carry out. IKL says this will be their first and last act, so what? A few moments of a guilty conscience for destroying a technically innocent android before IKL also sheds their mortal coil?

Wow, if I’m interpreting this correctly, I’K’L’s JoJo inspired time stop not only stops time completely for everyone else, but also turns their bodies into some kinda weak shatterable stone or crystal. And now that I’K’L can work uninterrupted, his grand plan of action is to take literally everyone out by physically pulverizing their bodies one punch at a time. Of course it would seem that I’K’L has got all the time they could ever want or need to do just that…. Unless Vegetto here is one of those crystal clones that we all know that he and Bra are capable of creating. Not really sure how likely that is though.

Oooh tough call here. Almost looks like Goku could be losing consciousness here, but even DBM I just can’t see doing the genuinely unexpected thing by having a clean win for Vegeta. Sensing an incoming Goku moment. Not so sure it’ll be the old Kaioken boost. I’m thinking more likely that Goku uses Instant Transmission to teleport behind Vegeta. The other possibility I think might be in spite of the exhaustion of both characters, Goku will somehow pull out the “level 2” version of this new form on the spot for the win. Simply because that second one would be the textbook definition of a Goku moment.

Wow, wow wow wow. This was amazing!! Well, the back and forth between Goku and Vegeta using their new form has been fantastic even though we saw the outcome beforehand. I know an official winner hasn’t been declared nor even an official count-out for Vegeta started, so I guess I could still end up being surprised even if I think it’s unlikely in terms of this story. Buu may be gone for the moment, but I hardly believe he’s finished. Varga Bulma’s last line about others being quick enough to snatch the device and use it…. So only universe 1 can is a lie, or maybe they programmed it that way after realizing what the power levels of tournament participants would be? I don’t see this permanently getting rid of Buu. He’s still got whatever he’s done with Uub, and Dai Kaioshin as potential aces in the hole. And let’s not forget that Dai Kaioshin from his universe is still a part of him having been one of his original absorptions. Buu could certainly try to leverage that in an attempt to return and we could then see the truth behind “only universe 1”

Bottom left is now among my favorite panels in this comic. I love that one of the many Buu clones, this one completely missing his head, is talking telling Kakarotto to die. And the immortal nut job just replies “Nooope”. I very much doubt Buu is unaware of Kakarotto’s immortality.

Wow check it out Gotenks failed and is getting completely trolled and schooled by Buu. Buu is even attempting to teach him how to use “Majin Punisher”. How cute. Also, how pathetic for Gotenks. And to think Vegeta calls Kakarot a clown.

Those hand feet for Frieza are kinda weird to look at. But what I can’t get over is Sexy Zarbon! Bwahahahahaha!!!!

Well no freakin way this is over just like that. Nice shot Buu but it won’t be that easy and you know it. Sure we don’t necessarily see XXI feet touching the ring but we also don’t see them not touching the ring. Too much hype behind this battle to simply call an immediate disqualification for prematurely vaporizing XXI’s…. Avatar. But I suppose it wouldn’t be the worst sin seen here.

Cell doesn’t seem to be looking at Vegeta as he’s shouting “what are you waiting for?”. So I don’t think it’s meant for Vegeta as when are you gonna start fighting for real. Well check out Vegeta whippin out I.T. Cell doesn’t really seem all too happy with him right about now. Seems for all the boasting he’s doing about Vegeta being much weaker, that Vegeta is in his head and already won the mental battle. Wasn’t expecting this outcome, but really not surprised. I sincerely doubt that this is all Vegeta has up his sleeve.

Woooooo go Vegeta!!! This is gonna be good. There’s no way Cell doesn’t pull himself together and put up a real fight here, but that was just fun! Seeing Vegeta call Cell’s boast and slice him to pieces all in one fluid motion is just great. Excellent work Ume on the art. Loving it so far

Can’t wait to see Vegeta vs Perfect Cell really get underway. Just what is Cell's limit, and Vegeta’s? We know that Cell has gotten a couple Zenkais and is roughly on par with the Gohans. Anyone that’s been paying attention also knows what Goku said about Vegeta’s current level, and that was excluding any new transformations or discovered techniques Goku didn’t know Vegeta possessed. Very much enjoying the extra things you get to see in the novelization that you don’t alway get to see in the main comic. The extra little details here and there. Like the telepathic banter between Perfect Cell and Gohan. Or Cell’s thought process going to the very real “I done messed up” in pushing Gohan to attack him at full power. Gives it that little bit something extra. Love it

I can’t see this being a mistranslation or mistake. Using “humble and sincere excuses” rather than “humble and sincere apologies” would honestly be very in character for Cold or Ginyu. Plus it’s just awesome that he put it that way. Much funnier

Beta-test version of Zen Buu.... if yer actually as stronger than this Broly as you believe yourself to be then how has your had regeneration not kicked in and healed you yet. Especially with all that power from absorbing the others mostly willingly. Also don’t be an overprotective parent here Goku part of Buu. Uub may not be ready, but if ya know yer gonna die anyway, better to at least try and make a difference than simply wait for murder. Majin Buu has survived worse. Survived Vegeta’s final atonement explosion that blew him into charred giblets. Survived being completely blown up by Gotenks inside the time chamber, where Gotenks and Piccolo then vaporized the remaining pieces. Buu fully reformed unharmed from nothing but the smoke and vapor left over. Broly will give Buu’s regen a serious workout before he likely eventually wins here but this Buu ain’t done yet.

Next page, Broly tanks that father-son kamehahmeha wave, laughs at Goku and Gohan and says “that almost tickled”

Asura, Salagir, thank you for this. This ending is a true ray of sunshine added to my day. Hell even Garlic Jr and Dhoulmagus from DQ8 are denizens of Dabura’s Hell. Buu with Cerberus, it’s beautiful

YEEEESSSSS!!! This is phenomenal and makes me very happy. I think it’s great that Dabura wants to take Buu to the demon realm with him. Also, rather than making an order as Babidi, he phrased it as if he were asking a friend for help. Dabura the King of The Demon Realm can retake the throne of Hell, and Buu just wants to be happy. I think Dabura would even make sure Buu had good quality of life and things he wanted while in Hell. This is because I would think Dabura would know how to keep a very powerful ally. This Buu is wising up some but still has that child like countenance. Dabura as the DBZ stand in for the literal Devil, would know exactly how to manipulate Buu to keep him as an ally and friend while also keeping Buu living a happy and content life with Buu’s fairly simplistic desires. This Buu might possibly even rather enjoy playing the role of Dabura’s personal enforcer so long as it was presented to him as a choice. As others have posted I also would adore a special chapter devoted to U11 Dabura and Buu in Hell. Great job on this!!

I was kinda hoping to see Dabura provide a more visceral end to Babidi, but it’s hard not to enjoy the look of sheer terror and panic that will be permanently etched into Babidi’s face. Seems that Babidi may have actually known a counterspell to the stone spit, though in his state of sheer panic could not remember the correct words or recite them quickly enough. Too bad so sad for Babidi!! Best is he actually commanded Buu to intervene by killing Dabura before Dabura could attack Babidi, and Buu was all “Nah!!” Don’t think so, not gonna do it.

Now this is something I’ve been waiting for!! Quickly Dabura, gut the little troll or spit on him before he can call on his Buu to intervene!!
I know this Buu still well outclasses Dabura in power level and speed, so hoping he doesn’t bother trying to stop Dabura

Well after all that Babidi, Dabura, and Fat Buu all simply teleported back to their original universe 11. A seemingly anticlimactic end for them, but as others have mentioned, could totally see Zen Buu having left a small piece of himself, possibly down Babidi’s throat, or maybe within Fat Buu. Don’t think that Babidi is long for his home universe. I wouldn’t bet against either Dabura or Fat Buu outright murdering Babidi in short order with Zen Buu watching for the sheer amusement while unknown to them.

Zen Buu really does have a kindred affinity for Uub. Bet he actually would teach Uub to the limits of Uub’s natural Majin magic abilities if he actually asked. Don’t quite think Uub could do everything Buu can though. I think at some point in Universe 4 (or perhaps one of the other universes? He is friends with Dai Kaioshin of U1 after all) that Buu absorbed one of the Eternal Dragons, augmenting his own magical prowess and gaining it’s knowledge and wisdom.

Glad to see Mr. Perfect Cell back, though he is clearly not amused. Or at the very least he is annoyed by the joy expressed by his Jrs. Vegito is pissed!! Temper tantrum incoming!! Nappa deserved to get cold cocked by Gohan

Damn Buu, drawing moustaches and turds on Babidi’s face, flicking him in the head or ear, tickling his feet and not even lifting a finger for any of it. Troll level maximum!! I’m thinking the gag in his mouth might possibly be an apple and not Babidi’s crystal ball but can’t be certain of that. God I wanna see this Buu actually go up against that other weird wizard XXI whatever he is.

Well Vegeta actually wants Goku to master Super Saiyan 3 but doesn’t want it for himself. I could see him actually possessing the ability to use the transformation himself and either hiding it or refusing to use it because of the rapid stamina drain. He would be stubborn enough to avoid using it because he feels the power increase is not worth the drawback. We know what he really wants and is working for.

Go ahead Vegeta, reach out yer hand and help Goku to his feet. Great fight! Now hug it out! Bro hug!!!

This is interesting to see what is either an intense spariring match or maybe even a knock down drag out fight between Goku and Vegeta of U18 inside ROSAT. 18 Goku actually does a good job of describing just how strong Vegeta has become. He states that barring any new transformation or secret new technique he may not know about, Goku feels confident in his estimation of Vegeta’s power as at the time he’s making the statement, says that Vegeta would win a one on one fight vs. Kid Buu, and face little challenge in doing so. It seems as if this is meant to be at Vegeta’s maximum as a SS2. We also know that Vegeta has been chasing Gohan’s power through his training. It has been strongly implied that Vegeta has found “something”.... some of the more observant members of other universes feeling that Vegeta is hiding “something”. Whether that is something akin to Gohan’s power or something different, or perhaps some special technique he’s discovered is still up for debate. This has also been implied several times through the webcomic. Wonder if maybe this special chapter will confirm what Vegeta is hiding like another special chapter confirmed immortal Kakarotto.
