I really don't see what the point of these 2 chapters is. We've already seen the other good guys react to all the other universes, so I don't know why we'd need to show Trunks's reaction as well. This is just a waste of time.
We appreciate the feedback. Hopefully this chapter may change your mind on it.

This dialogue could be better.
First... change "victims" to "the dead". At this time no one knew who was going to be in there or not.
Victims implies they were killed unjustly. Not everyone was killed unjustly.
Change Trunks's dialogue in the second panel to "Please give me a couple of hours, I need to TALK to some friends first."
Trunks is NOT that formal, he's not CS generator.
Change "You will then have my answer" to either "Then I will have an answer" or "I'll have an answer after."
Make the Vargo's speech to something more "enticing" not "formal"
Who wrote this btw? This dialogue is mediocre.
Excellent Art but bad dialogue.

Beautiful page. Glad my man Gast won and we see Bra making character progress. Still, a real fight would have been nice just to see.

Despite the great similarity to Master Roshi, he's a different character altogether. He's the former Kami and his appearance is based on Gan Fall / Ganfor, the "God" of Skypiea from the One piece series.

Not going to lie, I did not expect Vegeta's plan, so props for that. HOWEVER, this whole core-business is ever-so-slightly silly to me (ok, a lot). Cell explained it back in Z that one cell is enough for him to survive, he never talked about a semi-organ that he can juggle around in his body XD, big enough to grab like someone's intestines, and if you rip it out, he dies? This is just sloppy. Come on.
I heard you loud and clear Misi. However that was just a Funimation thing since the Japanese manga, anime, and English manga translation by Viz Media clearly noted that Cell always had a 'core' where he can always regenerate from. Apparently that line of thinking was also in the French translations, so it was ultimately incorporated into DBM as well. Hope this cleared up any confusion on why Cell has a nucleus.

Glad the negative comments are dying down. Now we can get to enjoy this story as things finally take off.

The villains are very intriguing. The vampire Goku appears to be quite intelligent so far while the little guy is honestly a bit creepy. He has that mysterious vibe to him. Hopefully the nameks can pull through if these aliens are seasoned pirates with heightened power levels.

No way Freeza born in Age 730. It goes against other previously established dates that clearly has him existing beforehand. Examples include:

Hey mate! Very glad you translate again! Will you also continue to translate the Buu fanfic? Unfortunatly we can't translate from french directly into german. We need the english version first to translate. I wanted to continue it for over a year by now. Many people would be very happy if you could find the time for it! Keep up the good work! :-)

I hope ya'll enjoy the colorings too. Every new novel chapter will have lots of colored panels for you, that no one has ever seen before! You can't find them anywhere else on the internet. Also, older chapters got updated with new colored panels too, go check them out if you like!

Well done npberryhill. The quality of work I was looking for.
Not what I was expecting. Luckily I can always translate the French version to get the real chapter 151, but this was amusing at best. Just wish it was set up better to introduce itself as a joke, not as a legitimate continuation of the majin revolt.

As for this page, I loved what Rogeru did to emphasize the deadly appearance of Broly. By just slamming against the Earth like some superhero doing his landing, he created irreparable levels of damage to the entire planet like a explosion seen in the Budokai games. It definitely adds to the tense atmosphere that the end truly is inbound and all stops must be employed to even have a modicum of a chance at survival. Normally I am not a fan of specials dealing purely with the death of the Z-Fighters, but this is the exception of the rule. I just hope the finale is much as of a bang as this page. 2 Antworten

Sadly, after years here, I'll just keep reading from the shadows. I don't even dare writing a comment anymore. When I comment I just want to enjoy DBM with it's community, like I've been doing for years. Lately I can't, cause coms get deleted (and don't) arbitrarily (yes, rules, but most comments break some rules and are there, therefore, arbitrarily). I don't enjoy wasting my time for nothing.
Thanks mod team for this xmas gift, you took this community from me.

Nice, another skeleton head avatar is among us. The world is slowly but surely getting filled with dead people. But funny bones business aside, Vegetto is a unique case no matter how it is sliced. In this situation, he is in the right since his daughter just killed billions of people and is totally mad with power. Him knocking her out was the best thing to prevent more casualties, especially considering she likely killed her very own brother. So he definitely justified and I agree with you. However, Vegetto overtime has been slowly rotting since his morals became warped enough that on a single impulse he wished to break Gohan's skull.
Something that seems to be realized on page 418.
He still is mostly a good man, but he is a stone thrown away from becoming a true menace since he cannot take pressure well. Once pushed over the edge, the stuff Bra been doing will look like a small bush fire compared to a Supernova taking place. Funny how a fusion of Goku has became one of the greatest threats in existence all due to Vegeta still possessing his sins during the fusion. Course there more to it, but it definitely the root cause of his degeneration.
About the avatar, it's even more fun because we have kinda similar names.
We didn't notice each other because I write almost exclusively in italian section and come here to lurk and, rarely, to reply to something.
Regarding Vegetto, add, to Vegeta's unresolved personality issues, that he is -literally- bored out of his mind.
Goku for all his life trained to face someone (to win the tournaments, to defeat piccolo, and so on), his life was always training and fighting stronger people. Vegeta the same.
In U18 they have each other (and maybe Uub) to keep up with this kind of life, to some extent.
In U16 Vegetto has literally no one. Even Gohan, who could at least give him a fight in normal (before retcon) or SSJ1 (now, after recon) form, refuses to fight.
And Vegetto doens't literally know what to do with his days.
Neither Goku nor Vegeta were ever be shown to be interested in hobbies (reading, watching tv, playing games, being playboys).
It must be incredibly frustrating.

Yes, our names are indeed similar. Perhaps we are kindred spirits, which is ironic given the mortal state of our avatars.
And I agree with everything you said. There plenty that can be seen as being wrong for Vegetto, and boredom is a condition that definitely a deciding factor to his rotting sense of 'justice'. Vegetto longs for great battles, so much in fact that on page 1556 he is more concerned with the action, not saving the lives of those in dangers. A stark difference to Goku in the same panel. So when you combine overwhelming power with boredom from the lack of challenges and having a superb sense of entitlement, it creates a dangerous recipe that makes it scary to see when fully realized. But I must give Salagir credit. This Vegetto is a unique and very flawed twist of a character that I always seen as being seamless and 'perfect' in every way. But here, he is destined to basically kill his own son and helped birthed a little demon that has taken a billion lives and threatened to destroy the Earth once. Scenarios I once found to be impossible for Vegetto. The Kaioshins are wise for never allowing mortals to use the Potara Earrings, and for good reason. Maybe the state of being permanently fused forever for mortals causes abnormalities and friction in the fused beings soul since there constant schism in the mentality of the fusees? This fascinates me if this is true since it a aspect not seen in namekian fusion or the temporary thirty minute fusion employed by the Metamorans. Along with the positives (enhanced strength, etc), the negatives too are greatly enhanced that likely becomes more prominent as time goes on (constant hunger due to saiyan physiology, anger, pressure from trying to find a identity from two previous lives, pleasing the Kaioshins, Universal peace from constant warfare, controlling oneself, controlling a dangerous daughter, etc). The list goes on. And it kinda ironic since Zen Buu, a alternative counterpart of the enemy that created him in the first place, is becoming more 'good' as time goes on. The duality between these two is intriguing on how their moral development compares to the other.

And I was the psycho last page cause I said "who cares? they have dragon balls". And now everyone here is applauding a father punching her little daughter on the face, some even saying it's the best thing ever. I sure am glad I'm a psycho then...
Relax my good counterpart. All is well. Personally I am glad Vegetto punched Bra since she is mad with power and didn't hesitate or regret taking a billion lives in her heightened state of mania. As seen in this page, she is laughing manically as that planet burns into cinders. In her current mindset, she would have likely kept on destroying entire solar systems, bringing more ruin across several civilizations. So Vegetto is justified in knocking some teeth out. Luckily the Dragon Balls do exist, so all of her damage can be rectified like you have brought up. But she is lucky that those orbs exist along with Vegetto, because if not I am sure both the Kaioshins and Otherworld would eventually classify her as a Universal threat since she cannot be trusted. Without a system in place to fix her mistakes or stop her, she would be 'too' much of a chaotic variable to let loose freely. That the reality, or at least in Age 790.
It always good to see Bra being put back in her place. I can see her getting punched in fifty different ways and never get bored with it. I just hope next page we get confirmation whether Goten dead or not, though the chances of him surviving are slim to none.

The kid just killed his half-brother (and someone Vegetto could feel like his son as well) and five billions of people, pulling out a complete Freeza, and laughing about it.
And a punch and a threat are the overreaction?
If she wasn't her daughter he would have incinerated her on the spot. And probably, for the safety of the universe, he should have done that anyway.
Anyway, with all the retcons happening, and with Bra still being annoyingly the protagonist, at least Salagir didn't ruin Vegetto, I give him that at least.
Yes its an overreaction.
Vegetto could have said "It's okay, we'll wish them back with the Dragonballs and work on your rage." Or "Do this again and I'll send you to King Kai forever." Instead he just goes with "Before you become more powerful than me I'll kill you." That's an overraction in my book.
Bra needs guidance more than anything else. Their relationship seems better later (before Bra kills Zangya) but the emotional scarring is still there, at least for Bra (Vegetto probably thought it wouldn't amount to much, which is in character for him).
Keep in mind Vegetto wanted to send newborn Bra and Pan into the time chamber on page297. To train them and make them stronger. As I said before, some of this is Vegetto's own fault.
Well, your book needs to be rewritten from scratch, this is the only thing I can say about the "a harsh threat is an overreaction toward genocide and fraticide" stance.

At age 10, Bra has a higher killcount than both DBZ Cell and Vegeta combined. Impressive. It's also funny how even mass-murderers like Vegeta, Frieza, Cell, and all Buus besides Kid, were more reluctant to blow up planets than Bra.
The various retcons of Bra's behavior and backstory are interesting to watch. Bra has always been intended to be sympathetic. There's nothing to indicate in the first few years of DBM that Bra was a budding villain: a lowkey first appearance, merely a meaner good guy with control issues. Chapters 136-137 of the novelization even describe Bra as having a "kind heart" like Goku, being a "hero", a "savior", and "beautiful". But as time's gone by and fan hate has increased, attempts to make Bra sympathetic have gotten more drastic.
Vegito's "I will kill you" flashback implies all Bra's issues come from him. In that scene, Bra is small, innocent, and vulnerable compared to Vegito's huge and menacing...
What does this accomplish, if not to make Bra sympathetic? If we'd had even a shred of context to this--if we'd seen Bra literally just murdered billions of innocent people, like we saw today--Vegito wouldn't come off as a bad guy. So Bra is unambiguously portrayed as a victim (right in the middle of U18 Bra telling us she's not. Hmmm.)
However, on this page she genocided a solar system without Vegito threatening her beforehand. We can't even blame SS2 for Bra's genocidal tendencies because she attempted the same thing on Earth at the tender age of 6 as only a SS1. Still, Bra's statement right before she introduced this flashback...
...has her clearly indicate her terror of Vegito is the defining moment of her life and the cause of all her issues.
This "abusive Vegito" angle--this implication Bra is awful and susceptible to Babidi because she's in constant fear for her life--wasn't implied at all in-webomic from 2008-2018. From the forum:
And from the user Axalon:
U16 was portrayed as nothing but happy and functional for about a decade, and Vegito's relationship with his daughter as nothing but good. (If anything, he was too soft on her: her killing Zangya gets a "good job".) Either it's a gaffe in planning and execution, or it's a retcon. Granted, by 2016 U16 was starting to be retconned into being darker, but Vegito is still seen as mostly a good guy prior to the tournament. On Page 1234 we see Vegito has been damaged by Bra after dealing with her for 2.5 days, but Bra herself doesn't have a scratch. Definitely abusive.
Even as late as 2019 when Majin Bra confronts Gohan, it's her resentment of putting up with and protecting weak people which she gives as her motivation, not her fear of her dad or wanting to get back at him. (She's Majinized and finally speaking what she's always wanted to say: why wouldn't she mention her fear of Vegito to Gohan if it's as big a deal as she later said it was?)
Not to mention there's author quotes. On page 278 it was said Bra "may not have Gohan's life and challenge", and Bra is described as "spoiled" on page 1198: a far cry from the traumatized, abused wreck she's now implied to be.
So this "abusive Vegito" angle is very recent. It seems to have been done to make Bra sympathetic by shifting the blame to Vegito when Bra is at her worst, making Bra "redeemable". Really, it's still Bra's fault, and she should still face consequences for it. (If anything, Vegito being willing to prioritize billions of innocent lives over his daughter's is admirable, and giving her a warning first is showing restraint.) "Abusive Vegito" contradicts years of prior characterization, and if anything Bra is even less sympathetic than she was. Since we've just learned she killed Goten, this implies Bra's so not-bothered by this she still relentlessly mocks and belittles him. I can only call that abusive...and it seems Vegito and Gohan don't even care.
Again, I wonder what's the point. There are theories on the forum that Bra is meant to be a "better" Vegeta: a Vegeta that's more sympathetic and "cool" (and exploitable for fanservice. Hmmm.) But if DBM's express purpose is to be a better DBZ sequel than GT, why was it decided spending SO MUCH TIME on Bra would accomplish that? Bra has double Goku's screentime! Most fights, longest fights, longest arc, the most fanart, four separate specials...
While it's a much less clear-cut thing at this point whether Bra's objectively not as bad a person as Vegeta (going by this page, I doubt he has her killcount in most universes), the reasons why people like Vegeta better and find him more sympathetic are obvious.
1) Vegeta failed constantly and thus was relatable even though he was awful. Bra hasn't been defeated in over 1500 pages and generally does most everything BETTER than most everyone. Vegeta falls to a group effort; Bra beats a group effort. (Read: she is better than LITERALLY EVERY HERO ON THE FIELD COMBINED, heroic sacrifices and all!) Every time Vegeta messed up, he got immediate karma; Bra has never faced any real negative consequences for her actions. Vegeta suffered immense agony even trying to disobey Babidi; the first time Bra attempts it, she breaks free completely, to an extent Vegeta never did.
2) Vegeta never made excuses for himself. Even dying at Goku's feet because of Frieza, he didn't excuse his behavior. Bra does.
3) Even at his most prominent, Vegeta never eclipsed Goku. Bra has.
4) Vegeta has had more sympathetic qualities than Bra. We've never seen Bra be kind to anyone or look out for anyone besides herself. Her most sympathetic moment is shedding a single tear for Pan, and even then, Chapter 27 of the novel indicates Pan would rather get strangled to death by Bojack than face what Bra would do to her should she forfeit. This is for a character initially presented as heroic! And yet Vegeta, initially presented as villainous, still showed better manners, displayed better teamwork and concern for his allies on Namek, and was more complimentary to his relatives in Cell saga. He complimented Trunks' strength to Cell: when was the last time Bra complimented her relatives?
No amount of tragic story retcons will make Bra sympathetic until she's either failed, become nicer, admitted she's wrong, or gone away.
The various retcons of Bra's behavior and backstory are interesting to watch. Bra has always been intended to be sympathetic. There's nothing to indicate in the first few years of DBM that Bra was a budding villain: a lowkey first appearance, merely a meaner good guy with control issues.
Well said Ashanark!
As we discussed in the past, Bra is indeed a unique character from a in-universe and out-universe perspective. So much is focused on her that one can have endless debates on what is really right or wrong with her. As our good friend Axalon pointed out, once upon a time Universe 16 wasn't dysfunctional and was literally another U18. Vegito was the perfect continuation of his Buu saga self and Bra only had issues with controlling her power and rage, but displayed no hidden traumas that later on showcased. But page 742 changed it all since Vegito actually wished to kill his own son, shooting off the destabilization of U16 we see today in this comic as Bra became more 'unhinged' as time went on. Was it all planned to be like this initially? I cannot say for certain, but Universe 13 was originally just gonna be a Universe where Vegeta killed Freeza and Kakarotto was just a psychopath, thus had nothing else to show. Yet over time new ideas came so they expanded the backstory where @ouv himself stated on page 1697 that a Cyborg/Cell and Broly specials are in the brainstorming phases. Ideas that weren't necessary or intended to happen initially by Salagir. Heck, one can even interpret that Kakarotto's and Vegeta's relationship wasn't horribly toxic initially since Kakarotto and Vegeta were able to tolerate one another from the first round and most of the second. But as the years went on, it was better to make the disparities between them even greater, which the novel does a nice job at doing. Now they openly hate each others guts and try to avoid the other, which was heavily implied before they even came to the tournament despite how they acted in the literally beginning of DBM comic-wise.
So what the point of me saying all of this? Simple, and that is that regarding Universe 16, the new years and fresh ideas changed the original perception of Universe 16 to make them far more messed up that wasn't wholly seen in the past. This is good and bad. Good because it creates a negative outlook on a Universe that the closest to our Beloved Universe 18 for a unique twist, but bad because it does retcon or replaced established quirks that we were running with for years. And in Bra's case, the bad is extremely noticeable since it changes her actual character to be more tragic and psychopathic-like than usual. And when you mix in her poor reception by the fans, yet strong push by the official DBM Team, the fluctuating opinions and focus on her further distorts her initial portrayal even further. She is a basket case, but interesting enough to review since she has a lot going on, regardless how she is viewed. Personally I am not a big fan of her and find the focus on her a bit too much (has three whole chapters dedicating to her fighting in the majin arc which is more than any other person has received, Ginyu sub-plot maintaining her image, etc), but I can only hope some form of 'comeuppance' occurs since her character is being set up for great changes. If she doesn't learn from her mistakes despite breaking free from Babidi and regretting killing all those people at the tournament, there is no hope for her and will be better off dead. She failed herself to become better and live up to her counterparts words in-universe, and frankly the DBM team would have failed us out-universe since they couldn't make her 'truly sympathetic' by her finally admitting to her mistakes in-universe and trying to become a better person. But sadly, I think the comeuppance may still be a dream given her personality on page 418, ridiculing the very people that makes up her own father. So I have low hopes for her, which is a shame since she has basically became the face of DBM on official advertising. Bra is a double-edge sword, so I hope the DBM team uses her carefully because any more drastic effects can seriously impact their story, positively or negatively. If they have a plan and make reasonable usages of her that will benefit the story, I am all game for it. But if she just here to satisfy Asura's and Salagir's apparent fondness for her and simply be eye candy with potential deemed greater than even Vegetto for no real reason, this will be a catastrophe and a slap to any reader who believes in DBM still. Only time will tell on how this all plays out...

Looking good! I cannot wait to read the end of this story.

CHEwys sagte:
Gorkor got hit by Buu Lightning Bolt, set on fire, and still a couple of pages later he was back in the line (see when Buu opens Tapions box). Not even Zen Buu could kill him.
I know that Gorkor appears on page 1541, but I don't see him again in the special. If he does appear again, which page is it? Even with your description he doesn't appear in line from the look of things.
Also CHEwys, did you had a hand in creating Gorkor, or was it all Dsp27 (or even Salagir)? Seems like you had that pfp forever, even before the second U4 special based on memory recollection.

It's mostly the missed potential that grates my nerves.
I've been reading this comic since I was 13, I'm now 25. I remember thinking back in the day: this is going to be amazing! And then Bra vs Cold happened... and it all started going down from there...
But anyway, I had been here for a few years before it started to go down.
Secondly: I'm a REALLY BIG fan of both DBZ Elswhere and An Earth without Goku, which wouldn't exist without DBM. I consider both RMK and Chewys highly creative writers who, while respecting canon, find ways to incorperate new lore into the story. I love those stories.
Salagir, by contrast, just recently announced oozaru is actually x2 instead of times 10, invents explenations that make no sense, such as the majin marc apparently dissapearing when breaking free of Babidi's control, while we know from canon (Vegeta had to fight back against Babidi to overpower his control, so clearly Babidi was in his head) that that isn't the case.
I guess you could say I've been here so long (half my life) it feels weird to leave now. That said, I will leave again on wesnday. When the new page hits. Because as I said before, I'm not going to spend the rest of my life complaining every time Bra does something. I'll probably take a LONG break. Hell, mayby I'll never return. But for now I'm sticking around because this is the last page of an arc that's been going on for 3 years. So I might as well discuss my opinions about it.
But to answer your question: yes, there were things I liked. I'll give you a summmary:
— Kakarotto being immortal: amazing and opens up so many new possibilities. I mean think about it, Kakarotto is STILL ALIVE IN THE ARENA RIGHT NOW. It's the first time we actually get an immortal character outside of movies. And Salagirs interpretation of immortality; (coming back to life just enough to "not die" but still having wounds that require weeks to heal without treatment) is amazing.
— Cell revealing he played everyone and broke free of Babidi's control. Cell was the mvp in this fight in my opinion.
— Kakarotto becoming a ssj2.
— the earthlings defeating a cell jr through ACTUAL TEAMWORK
— Raditz getting the mystic ritual
— Vegeta u18 bickering with Vegeta u13.
— Goten being seperated from Trunks for once and actually growing as a character, showing bravery by attacking a cell jr, giving Gohan the moment he needed to break free.
— Everyone ignoring Vegito and working together, and Vegeto being unacustommed to that situation.
— Cell not being stupid enough to get killed by Gohan again after it nearly costing his head 30 years ago (and in many universes did cost him his head)
— u18's Bra defending her Gohan.
u18 Bra, a 16 year old teenager who probably hasn't trained a day in her life, kicking Nappa (an 80 something veteran of a hundred battles and a giant of a man), in a wall, then being oblivious why Videl assumes she's been training xD I foresee a race of superhumans in a 1000 years if every decendant of saiyans on earth has that level of power without training a day in their life xD
And the whole u13 special everything about it.

Fair assessment and thank you for taking the time to answer my question. You have legitimate reasons to be unhappy and I now understand where you're coming from. We both definitely share one thing in common; our mutual dislike for the Cold and Bra fight. Funny enough that and the Gast and Raichi battle were two situations I was most hyped for and got disappointed in one fashion or another. And it has kinda been a trend even up to battles for today. I still highly respect Salagir and the whole DBM team for giving us this content, but it also not perfect either, something that seemingly to be shared unanimously among various fans for the poor executions it has at times.
The teamwork would have been great among the resistance against Bra. Cell using IT, Phipsil's carbonite being more effective, fusion (between Piccolo or Gohan), lack of action between Grand Kaioshin and Fat Buu, and much more should have been implemented or at least said as a plan for acknowledgement. But instead we got this, which is a bit disappointing. Like most the senzu beans shouldn't have been abused. Yes for repairing Bra's arm and to revive Gohan's broken spine, but that it. It would be much better if Bra earned her victory, not constantly repairing all her damage and making all the heroes attacks be for fault. I believe the audience reaction would be a bit better if Bra at this very moment at least was still covered in fresh blood, breathing hard, and her leg was for more damaged that she could barely walk. All missed opportunities.

You are actually making it worse.
How is this hard to understand? The question isn't "who wins", the question is "how does the fight go exactly"
What we have seen here is boring beyond belief and defies all logic. Everyone stands around attacking one at a time.Techniques that should be used (Cell using instant transmission, Buu healing someone, the cell juniors,...) are never used. Bra knows information she can't possibly know and even if Salagir says Bra studied up on Cell beforehand if Gohan who's smart enough to get a ph didn't think to check if Cells nucleus survived a point blanck attack after seeing him come back from the dead once before as a child, then Bra shouldn't have even thought of it.
The fighters attack one at a time, there is no logical teamwork... Had the fight we were shown gone back and forth, with Bra taking lots of damage from fighting 8 people at once and those 8 people taking damadge because Bra is a whole tier above them in power, with it being unclear who would win, then it wouldn't have mattered who won in the end.
Had Bra won, she would have earned her victory, and if she was so weak she could barely stand all the better, because that's what makes it a good fight. This isn't a one on one, this is a one on 8.
Had the heroes won, then they just took down a ssj2 who's power outshines them all through solid teamwork, if some of them had died in the attempt all the better, because they just took down someone who, under different circumstances, would be nearly invincible to them.
But we get this one sided stupid slaughter because "Salagir thought it would have been boring otherwise", and we all know that's bullshit.
Was ANYONE even remotely interested in this one sided fight? Did anyone think, I hope she takes another senzu bean? Didn't everyone except a team battle to involve actual TEAM ATTACKS AND FOLLOW UPS? Who wouldn't have loved to see Gohan and Cell fighting together for once? That didn't happen even once! All the potential for this fight... THROWN AWAY because apparently Salagir thought IT WOULDNT BE COOL ONTHERWISE

Not gonna lie but seeing you complaining non-stop is starting to get old real quick. I never recalled you being so silly until you came back. You had the sense to leave when this arc was getting on your nerves, so why come back and further dive into the hate sink? Take a breather and just step back. We get it that you are unpleased with the turn of events and I agree with some of your points, but moaning and whining won't make the situation better. Just relax man.
But since I have you tagged, let me ask you a question. Was there ANYTHING you liked about this arc? Did you at least liked one fight, encounter, or moment among the competitors on the faraway planet, or was it all just so bad for you? I am curious about your response.

Hehe, prepare to ragequit then because knowing Dragon Ball, there a really good chance Son Bra may be forgiven just that easily. Not that I like it, but when people can come back thanks to dragon balls and could use the excuse that she was mind controlled, she has almost just enough ingredients to not get mob lynched in the end for her murderous deeds, especially if her family backs her up like Gohan because he does love her. But we must wait and see what Salagir has in store before we could make our final judgement.

I'm quite glad U18 was safe from the continued existence of Vegetto. Vegeta and Goku, while flawed, are still far better parents to their children during a time of peace than Vegetto ever could be.
Goodness gracious, no wonder why Son Bra is so messed up. Previous specials have shown it was mostly sunshine and rainbows with a few hints of a hidden curtain of malaise over U16. I mostly attributed it to Vegetto and Son Bra (an unnatural existence coupled with an unstable child brought up in an unstable upbringing leading to an unstable universe), but now? The events behind the scenes are starting to make much more sense now as we see what is behind the curtain.
I'm unsure where precisely in the timeline this flashback occurs as I reconcile this with my interpretation of Son Bra's character... But, I believe it is sometime after the events of chapter 54. It's never too late to address the needs of a child as you lay the foundation for their personality later on in life. But this pathetic stunt by Vegetto? A deliberate, and malevolent attempt to put the fear of God into Son Bra's very heart and soul so he can selfishly motivate her to train and beat him? So he can finally have an opponent that'll give him the fight he so desperately craves to give meaning to his existence since he was born in battle?
Is it any wonder why she responds that her life goal in life is "To be the strongest in the universe?" Is it any wonder why she fell so easily to Babidi's sway? Is it any wonder shy she does not like to lose?
I admit I was mostly wrong about how she wants to be the strongest so she can feel better about herself due to her lack of self-confidence. She wants to be the strongest so she won't be killed by her own father. And somewhere along the way, that goal slowly got twisted into her only life purpose and molded her into this apathetic person that tries to achieve whatever small victory she can get.
When one has a Father like Vegetto, compared to the warmth of Goku or the calmness of Vegeta, it's just so, so sad. She still loves him and yet, when one re-reads all the previous U16 Chapters (which mostly took place after this particular page, it changes everything.
It's incredible how ONE page can change a perspective so quickly and so suddenly. Props to Salagir and Asura for being so full of surprises.

"F-Father? No... He's different. He's-"
"Yes, I am Gogeta now, Son Bra. I am also Vegetto, one might almost say, Vegetto as he should have been."

Even though he did nothing in the entire revolt, it still sad seeing Grand Kai dying like this. You can see the purity of his soul by trying to let bra know that this isn't the right thing to do and is completely sincere about it. The face stomp was very brutal and shows how monstrous Bra is. I just hope one day, ONE DAY, Bra gets what she deserves. I want her to be so overwhelmed by absolute power that she loses sight of who she is as her life force is literally on the brink of death. A complete beat down. To go from being 'number one' to less than dog poop should be her destiny. Vegito, Zen Buu, XXI (Most likely), U18 Gogeta (once made), or Ginyu stealing her body and leaving her in a lesser being for an extended time would all do the trick in giving her the comeuppance she needs in terms of a butt whooping. I just hope it happens sooner rather than later.

This is quite thought provoking if this indeed comes to pass, though the chances are almost zip for it to occur [hopefully]. But like Moth has said, it would be poetic if Son Bra is trapped in a weaker version of herself as she once again looks at the body snatcher in her flesh. And if Bra has mastered SSJ2 being a majin when Ginyu could do so before such a unholy upgrade, he could likely push her potential even further underneath Babidi's magic. Yes, a true abomination such as SSJ3 Majin Ginyu-Bra would truly be the stuff of nightmares. I am sure Son Bra in U18's Bra's body would have a heart attack upon witnessing her original body possessing such massive power. I hope to god this scenario never happens because it would be straight overkill, but at least the real Bra would become a victim like she deserves though in hindsight this just means that U16 Gohan ended up killing U18 Bra a few chapters ago. That would be very tragic for many reasons.

Hopefully Bra gets a bit cut up from this. She needs something else besides that foot injury. If she loses a eye that would make me happy.

Unless something truly major occurs, the heroes are screwed. That really all I can say about this.

>It would be different if orange Dodoria here first won against Vegeta just to lose against Raditz a while later.

Leave it to Jimmie and his sarcasm to make me laugh. One of the few who can get away with it without automatically dying to my almighty powers of anti-trollololol. Well played good sir!
Anyhow this is a good page. Wings getting his wings snapped off is fitting. He will likely perish next page, but the rest are doing mighty fine against their opponents. And Slug still hasn't intervened. Vegeta will be a major player if all four want to win his situation. But with Slug being so old, they might have a fighting chance if they gang up on him. But I envision all four will be necessary for such a victory. 1 Antworten
I give Raditz respect for trying, but Commander Zeeun ain't no joke in this special. That Evil Impact looks like it hurts like Hell. He luckily his face didn't become like my avatar, dead as a doorknob. Still, the fight isn't over yet.

Man, you guys are clowning that poor man to death. Still, I rather see thousands of Vegito's than a single Bra any time of the day. So as a community, we are doing something right in that sense.
But this is a great special. Plenty of exposition, action, and great art to keep me hooked. I just hope Picardy whenever he finishes his Gast Special will also incorporate Slug in as well. They are the last namekians, and dialogue between them would be highly entertaining.
You sure are dog. Seeing my homie flexing out here in the cosmos always makes me smile. Show them the power of a immortal cannibal Kakarotto!
At last, I finally get to speak to my doppelganger. Sup man? Glad one of us Xeno's have been holding down the fort while I slumbered until it was time for me to take action once again.

Vash was saying: We all know how this is going to end. The Saiyans from this universe made it to the tournament, not Lord Slug and his men.
Yeah, but happiness is in the trip, not the destination. Or something like that XD
We know saiyans will win, the question is how. What will they win from this fight? A zenkai? Info? Allies? All of that? Are Slug and co. gonna fight Freezer too? Or are they gonna die here? Will this Vegetto madness end? How many times will kakarot die now that he can? Will Slug meet Guru?
So many options.
