The r-word is a slur. It's taken very negatively in some places because of that, as it rightfully should be. There's no reason to say it casually, but Gohan was translated to say it in the Buu arc, and it's a valid translation of that moment. That moment is called back to, here.

For real, though, the oddly-realistic style of that chapter never quite sat right with me in the moment, but seeing it through Pan's eyes, it finally 'works' for me. It feels a lot more brutal and immediate as it being her perception of that fight.

Vegetto here is reacting to Bra murdering everyone. Accidental or not, he's in the same fury he was when Ginyu took Bra's body. You don't fuck with Vegetto's family.
Even if it's just a planet full of people, that's still a genocide. Vegetto is saying that if she looks like she's about to surpass him, he'll kill her, because she's a danger to the universe.

Additionally, this would explain how Bra fails to control SSJ2, but Ginyu can. She's immature and can't restrain herself, and now she has a fear that Vegetto will kill her. She's got everything the wrong way.

When Bra got hit by the Carbonite in the glove, she saw it impact and threw the glove off before seeing what it did. She was even complimented for doing so, since it showed good sense.

When Carbonite hits something, it spreads in a 3D manner to everything it's touching. If you can see it spreading on the surface, it is spreading on the inside in a roughly semi-spherical manner. In that panel, inside the boot, a good portion of her foot is already gone.

Having realized that she can either remove the foot or die to Carbonite, she took the latter option. She's not panicking- or at least her decision-making is not being impacted by it- and she's not overreacting. She's making the only choice she can make.

My thought when this started was that she would do some horrible things and when the situation ended, it would be a redemption arc.
I never expected her to do this much, though. I thought her arc was to fall to the bottom and work her way back up, becoming a good character by the end, but I don't see how that's possible anymore. She's gone too far. If and when Vegetto returns, what could he even do to make us feel satisfied after she's done this? How can Gohan ever look at her the same way again?
I suppose that's interesting in of itself. I'm trusting you Salagir, but unless you're intending her to remain a heel (and/or be one of the villains) I'm not sure how you're gonna pull it off.

How does it lengthen the story, though? You're welcome to believe it isn't to your taste, but lengthens it? If Cell was healed, it would be lengthened, but he wasn't, so it's shorter.
Like, it's literally the opposite of dragging out the situation. Bra was dragging out the situation, now she's just murdering them, like she should have done from the beginning. Doesn't it take multiple beans to fully restore her?

1) In the 21st tournament, Krillin and Roshi are able to perform a series of actions including attacks, rock-paper-scissors and spitting in a timeframe that was little more than a flash. Scaled upwards from there, it would seem that by the Freeza arc, they are many times the speed of light.

2) The eye can track Kinto'un. Regular people watch it move, so it is slower than Roshi and Krillin were able to perform on foot in bursts. However, Goku asked Piccolo Jr. before the fight with Raditz if he could keep up with the cloud, despite their foot speed being infinitely faster. This suggests Buku-Jutsu is orders of magnitude slower than the speed of their footwork. This specifically is to debunk the Gotenks feat as well as further below.

3) Despite being able to track enormously fast things by the Freeza fight, Piccolo, Gohan and Krillin were unable to react at all to Freeza's Death Beams. However, Vegeta, having received a superior power-up, was able to track the blast. This suggests having greater power in Dragon Ball scales up your perception and reaction time.

Using all of these facts, it can be surmised that earlier in the series than most believe, FTL was achieved by the characters through basic scaling from the Krillin/Roshi fight. If you're not a fan of that, Goku was able to cross the one million km Snake Way in about a day with a flight speed orders of magnitude beneath his foot speed. It winds, so even half of that would be over ten thousand km per hour, about Mach 10. Scaling from there, we can expect lightspeed by at least the early Artificial Human arc, and that's a BRUTAL low-ball. 1 Resposta/e

And yet they perform feats that can only be faster than light. There is an enormous amount of evidence that Dragon Ball characters are massively FTL.

Everyone spends a lot of time complaining about Bra when she's just using her powers intelligently. If Vegito was doing this stuff, you'd be cheering, but because it's his progeny, beneficiary of his personal training and a lifetime of warfare, you're mad.

As for her strength, if Goten and Trunks had bothered to train, they'd be at her level, they had enormous latent potential. These human-saiyan hybrids have way better potential than their pure fathers/grandfathers, but they never seem to stick to training. Bra here did, and lookie that, she's incredibly powerful. 1 Resposta/e

As for the comic, it's getting to the point where it's just not fun to see new pages anymore. If these are meant to be read as full chapters, release as full chapters monthly or every two months. As it is, it's agonizingly slow, and nothing happens for weeks in real time anyway. The last time I was enjoying each page was in August.
