Okay. I don't want to be completely negative so I will say, the art is amazing. However:

The pacing of this whole comic is terrible. It's really tiresome to have yet ANOTHER long side story as soon as something interesting happens. Every single time, it never fails. Something interesting happens and we get a boring side story that we already know the outcome to.

That Majin Bra arc took way too long. Then we finally get to see a bunch of good fights and the first one, a mysteriously powerful magician VS a magical nigh-omnipotent Majin Buu and we get a very disappointing end. You'd think with all Buu's power and knowledge he'd have figured out a way to counter that stupid spell long before this tournament even began.

And the writing is just getting worse and worse as it goes, but I still have faith that it'll get better at some point. I want to see Vegito go crazy already. I REALLY just wish they'd chill on the side stories. Feels like Naruto with all this filler.

This is a cool twist people just love to complain about this manga but ive loved every page of it.

Got a feeling were going to have to wait ahile to see ghast vs bra tho...

Umm, basic question here: what's wrong with the Kaioshin being in league with Buu?

Speak for yourself buddy. Someone who can outmaneuver characters like this will be a different kind of challenge and he doesn't even have to raise the Power Scale Ceiling. Not to mention that's a really bad idea right now. Vegito could end up getting U16 sent back.

I love how this is going.

Buu being made obsolete by a simple spell, vegito being made obsolete by a quick dimensional teleportation technique. The big players being nerfed is good story telling.

Will be interesting to know if the magic can affect the universe rooms. As bra was able to become a majin through those walls. Would be awesome to have a cut scene where buu is with Uub panicked.

Bring about a question though. If buu is also in his own universe and there is no direct link between his different patches of goo, are the things he is seeing being transmitted to the main buu all the time, or does he need to wait to rejoin his little buus back together. It’s mean his thoughts can travel instantly through different dimensions and universes. Something much more spectacular than instant teleportation. Given thoughts are electrical signals, they should not be able to travel quicker than the speed of light, thus his little buus in other universes should have a delayed reaction to what is going on.


Also I like the theory of Buu ultimately losing this fight but the mafabu being used later on to release a small piece and reincarnate him

Didnt they say that it was written and drawn years ago? So that means super copied them. I still think the super manga handled it better though, with vegeta saying he only wanted to use it once and never again because he has pride. both dbm and super have reasonable explanations. vegeta doesn't want to copy goku. but at the same time, IT is ridiculously useful, so everyone should learn it.

Vegeta in ssj2 is much stronger than he was in the Buu Saga, but he's not gotten strong enough to beat Kid Buu in ssj2. (which could mean he's around his power, by the way.)

Vegito staying fused was only a coolness factor on a surface level. DBM at first seems to present it as a wish fulfilment timeline, and then says "Actually, shit goes pretty fucking wrong because of that".

What do you mean friendly tournament? Have you…. Have you not been reading this story? Not only are they testing the limits of their power but this is definitely not a “friendly” tournament by any stretch of the term.

Does anyone else remember how namekian healing wasn't enough for Vegito after beating Broly? Makes me wonder how Broly got brought back from being frozen for years, and instantly at full power. I'm sure a little hand-wave would fix that though.

Vegito is getting heated.
His pride has taken a serious hit.
He was stripped of his power, humiliated, everybody sided with bra after her majinization, scolded, now a "villain" is saving everyone when he probably feels like it's his job or responsibility to do so, and probably realized buu could've prevented much of the scenario that happened.
It's not gonna take much more to really piss him off.

Because for the majority of this comic it has felt more or less like it could’ve been a continuation of the actual Manga. But this scene right here feels like it’s ripped straight out of some 9 year olds first attempt at writing something.

With that many false starts with basically equal progress each time you have to wonder if the issue is the story rather than the artists.

This better not be talk-no-jutsu. This is Dragon Ball not Naruto. Talking doesn't work in Dragon Ball, characters actually have to take years to grow and learn naturally. So if this works, I might be done with this series. Cause it wouldn't be Dragon Ball.

Im pretty disappointed. Great quality writing and drawing as always but it's also been 2 years since I checked this out and there was less than 5 new chapters. Don't tell me your slowing down....? I'd rather you quit if you're going to model the releases after Ruler of the Land. It was already a trickle of pages before, which was fine, but if this is the new rate then I'm no longer interested.

This was in the manga. Piccolo chopped him in half. babadis shield vs piccolo WAS filler. He also healed a dog and mr satan who were dying.
