>Can't Cold's body live with this damage? What is stopping Bra from telling her friends even if the refs don't believe her?
Freiza was going to die when cut in half until Goku gave him some ki, so Bra is going to need medical attention if she wants to survive.
I'd say Kold should already be worried while being in such a state that one of his sons don't decide to finish him off and take his place as ruler of U8 since loyalty isn't really that high on their list. Bra letting them know while in such a state would be pure suicide since she doesn't exactly have anything to offer Frieza. Whats in it for them to get Ginyu back in their dads body since they want Ginyu dead too, and he can answer what happened to Kold while in Bra's body too. So they really have no reason to switch them back (unless Kold's soul is alive, but that seems highly unlikely)
>Then how could Ginyu get into Cold's body in the first place, that must be a huge power difference.
Maybe he upgraded the technique in 30 years or spent his time slowly getting stronger and stronger bodies or got Kold when he was injured or in a severely suppressed state. In the end he did flatout state he couldn't steal Goku's body when he believed he was a SSJ who even Frieza feared and then immediately calmed down when realizing Goku wasn't a SSJ. So he originally deemed it impossible (which could also be why he decided to serve Frieza instead of stealing his body). We don't know how or when he switched, he might have been bodyjumping for decades and only recently gotten Kold, maybe the next special will show.
Or we might even find out this is Kold and Buu gave him the knowledge on how to use this technique while he was handing out his power ups.

>Not quite. Cell's ki is borrowed from a lot of people; but his ki is unique and distinguishable exactly because of that. He can't disguise as somebody else in the way Ginyu does. Ginyu literally steals ki right away. He is the perfect doppleganger (starting with the fact that he is the original itself, not a duplicate). The only way to detect Ginyu is through his mannerisms, not the conventional way of "reading ki" (at least that is how it was played in canon).
I was just trying to say that "ki signature " was the better term you was looking for since everyone as a different one. I was using Cell as a reference (not example) to remember what a ki signature was. I guess I should've used Roshi.

Not necessarily. That could just be Cold playing the part of Bra still.

plot hole?
Unless vegeta has a quick change of clothes in bulmas garage, he shouldn't have that outfit. So, is this future vegetto then? Somehow? Does this explain where future goku is and why he didn't help when the androids were rampaging? he was in u6 or u??? or somewhere with vegeta and training for some reason? Despite vegeta still being an evil ass hole in the future time line, maybe goku got him a good deal somehow and got him a body?
Future vegetto based on the clothes unless vegeta changes clothes. Unless the preview shows a "what if we did this vegeta? Let's fuse and do this and that and we can rip the time ring off his hand with our superior strength and his immortality won't mean jack shit!" and vegeta be all like "ok."

Throughout dragonball the martial arts tournament has always been a thing of great importance and as such has always been respected and honored. Back in OG dragonball when Tien fought goku in the finals, it could have easily been considered a draw, however respecting the tournament and its rules the winner was Tien by a second. Later on when goku finally won vs piccolo, the victory didn’t rly come till he was knocked ring out, once again respecting the rules of the tournament. In DBZ Trunks and Goten lost because they broke the rules, not because they lost the battle. The tournament has always been a thing of respect in DB.
Although the senzu was stretching the rules and close to breaking them, I can see the judges overlooking it because it didn’t give Bra an unfair advantage she did not have before, she just played Cool when she could have sliced him form the start. However this is different.
The count had already reached 30 BEFORE Cool(Ginyu) used the change move. He attacked another contestant once the battle was OVER, and that is a BIG no no in any tournament. Ginyu is breaking the rules big time and disrespecting the tournament. And with all the fighters and kami out there that can see and feel kis faster than the speed of light I don’t rly see how he could get away with it without seriously abusing some plot holes here.
If the previous page has said 29 seconds when he used the change I would say nothing regarding the matter, however as it is it is showing a great disrespect to the tournament rules in DB, something that has always been respected if not sacred in this saga we all love

>Maybe I didn't express myself too well; but what I mean is that my interpretation of the subtext on that scene is that a close/intimate relation between two people might form a connection where both can read each other beyond what is read from perception alone.
Oh, okay, okay. Yes, I would agree. At the risk of getting off-topic, perhaps we even see this sort of thing in the famous Buu saga scene where Bulma knows Vegeta's dead even though he was hundreds of miles away and she's not a fighter. Since all Vegeta's family is dead, and there's really no one Bulma's closer to at that point, perhaps they formed a connection of the kind you're talking about. Or maybe I'm just way off-base.
>I think Vegetto could have such connection with Bra because A) he is her most close relative (I mean, he is literally a double parent); B) he shares a lot of good/bad traits with her; C) It's obvious Bra looks up to him; D) from Vegetto's point of view, Bra is the one that he can relate the most, since she also suffers the "predicament" of being the strongest being in the universe and suffers some of the "disadvantages" of being the by-product of a fusion. Even if Gohan or Pan are better influences for her, or show "real love" to her; I don't find their connection as tight as the one with Vegetto. I don't know if he would find the truth quickly or not; but I'd be really surprised if somebody else found about it sooner than him.
I agree, especially with point D. Whether or not it ends up happening, Vegito discovering Ginyu would be an important moment for his character. This last special showed a lot of Vegito's failings as a father, what with him misunderstanding young Bra and then walking out on her, and at this point it's easy for people to joke that Gohan was always Bra's "real" dad. (Kind of like the TFS-canon Goku/Gohan/Piccolo relationship, which is funny but not the original story.) Having Vegito be able to tell that something is off about his daughter would show that yes, despite his flaws, he's still Bra's actual father, and their relationship with each other is unique. Perhaps the scene you have in mind is different from mine, but I like the idea that U16 figures out the Ginyu mystery not because of Vegito's incredible ki sense or his other fusion-related qualities, but because he is a dad, and has that special connection with his daughter. Vegito's character could use some humanizing touches.
@Ginyu's voice question
I figured the "voice swaps with the soul" thing to be done for the viewer's sake, since it makes no sense for vocal chords to change and nobody in the anime ever noticed anything. Personally I prefer how TFS handled it: the voice actors stay the same, but the accents change.

Basically what i think. Ginyu came here in a different body, then took over Cold sometime after his fight with Bardock

In that case the exchange was already in progress. Maybe he can´t start it unless the other party is directing senses towards him. And even then, there may be souls too rooted and centered to be carried around against their will.

>Although i do believe the change has some potential story wise and would bring about some interesting development, like fulfilling Elder kais earlier fear of Bra destroying the world and being an agent of evil. I believe there is a huge problem in the way it was done as ill explain.

You are joking right?
You can't say Bra eating a senzu is fair but Kold using a technique is cheating. Bra gained a huge and unfair advamtage in doing so, she literally initiated a round 2 after losing round 1, however she got to start round 2 at full strength while Kold was left with his injuries and fatigue from round 1. Compared to the original 3 Budokai's that was most definitaly cheating.
As for the swap, he waited till count 30 and did the exchange BEFORE the Vargas said "Match over, Bra wins", so he did the technique right on the deadline, which in the end is the same as Piccolo blasting a hole through Goku's shoulder.
So no, going by the original DB tournaments, Bra cheated and Kold pulled a Piccolo.
And using Goten and Trunks are bad examples since they violated rules and agreements in both tournaments. They agreed not to use SSJ in the Jr cup, which Trunks then quickly used to avoid losing (Goten's attack was going to hit and win him the match, so Trunks won via cheating) and then bribed Goten with toys to get away with it. Of course Goten did the same earlier, so in the end they both cheated to avoid a loss. They then injured and stole the identity of another participant (wow, sounds familiar) and entered a tournament they were forbidden from entering

But if initiating the technique would require someone to be focussed on him but once the beam is fired it no longer matters who it hits just seems weird, since he could just aswell aim the technique at a spectator behind Bra, tilt his head slightly and still hit her.
This seemed more of a mocking congratulations then a required set-up to start the move, similar to when he complimented Goku on his body and power just before unleashing the move. Maybe its just his way of acknowledging his old body has outlived its use and thats what he's complimenting them for
TurboCharger
Captain Ginyu/King Cold never even cheated either. He did not PHYSICALLY attack her. He just swapped their bodies. Different difference is different.
Let's all please just leave it at that while we wait for the next page.
@Waffleguy32
If somebody else has the technique, then that would be disappointing. Personally, I would rather just have the body switching technique to just be Captain Ginyu's big thing. If somebody else has this, then we would just need a backstory special. Otherwise, I would not like it. But yes, this comic is awesome and I cannot wait to see where Salagir goes next!!
@Ignorant morons are still using logical fallacies about the damn senzu and don't know shit
Neither is cheating. it is as simple as that.

A few rules to follow when you post
Your comments may be deleted if they don't comply with any of the following rules. Moreover, you may be banned, depending on the content or the insistence of your messages. These rules may be applied even if your comment is about DBM!
#0. Comments, discussions or issues about the forum should stay on the forum.
#1. Do not comment about the moderation. Don't ask why your comment has been deleted either. It's out of topic. If you want to discuss it, please send your question or argument to the team (in menu "The authors")
#2. In that comment space, comments are only about DBM, and mostly about the current page. Not anything else. Debates linked to DBM but drifting to something else than the current page must not last for too long. Also, if the two sides just stand firm, then it's useless to let it go on further. For longer argument, there is the forum.
#3. Do not post insult, provocation, racist, sexist, (etc) comments.
#4. Follow the rules of the English language as much as possible. No sms.
If we consider a comment isn't readable, it'll be deleted.
On your side, don't correct the writing of other comments.
#5. No flooding. So, do not send twice (or more) the same message. Don't repeat links. Don't post comments with content written with capital letters. The 'first' and other comments of the kind are not tolerated either.
#6. Don't post ads in the comments, even if it's just once. Even if it's well writen. Even if it's about DBZ. Even if it's short.
The "Promos" page is here for that.
Don't post links, unless it had a direct connection with the current page.
#7. No “signatures” (a signature is a sentence or a link at the end of your comment, that is repeated – or not – and that doesn't have any connection with what you just said and with DBM)
#8. Please, make sure that your comment does make sense, at least a little. So, please, do not send comment that are just "yeah!" "oh!" "huh?" "pfff"... People need to know what you're talking about.
Comments are full sentences, not just one word.
#9. Do not double post (two posts one after the other). You can use the "edit" button. But you are allowed to send several comments on the same page (well, no flooding either).
#10. Do not pretend you're another commenter.
#11. Do not write several messages with exactly the same idea.
#12. No value judgement! Provocation and/or judgement (such as "you're an idiot", "you certainly are a kid", "learn to read", "your comment is rubbish", "such a debate is useless"...) are not welcomed. You comment and debate about the comics, not about the readers and their intentions. Moreover, if a debate doesn't interest you, do not take part in it.
#13. Besides, do not try to second-guess what the authors (or even the readers) have in mind. For instance: “It's obvious they're not motivated anymore”, “DBM will soon end”. You can't read people's thoughts.
#14. Please, avoid political, religious, identity, community etc... references.
#15. Do not accuse one another of this and that. For instance: a reader who dislike Bra isn't necessarily misogynous, a reader who dislikes Uub isn't necessarily a racist.
#16. Do not be extreme to the point you lose every objectivity, even if you're defending DBM. Do not think you're a moderator. So, for instance, do not write: "Don't read if you don't like it." "Go and try and draw better!" or "Stop criticizing!!" Readers may, or may not, approve of the scenario, the characters or the drawings. Debate if you wish, but stay objective. Really: do not try to do the job of the moderators, you just give them more work to do.
#17. If you ever have questions about DBM (the publication of the next page, how we work...), do not ask it here. Read the FAQ. If you can't find the answer in there, you can send a mail to the DBM team in the "The Authors" section.
#18. Do not reply to anyone who doesn't follow the rules, or your comment will be deleted as the same time as him, even if it's about DBM too.
