What part of their durability comes from focused defense do y'all not understand? When they are not focused on defending they're vulnerable. That's how it has always worked. Vegeta explained this whole principle on Namek. Saiyans aren't built like Frieza's race. They're flesh and bone reinforced by ki. They're built to take damage naturally. That's how Goku despite reaching god levels was taken out by a tiny laser ring.
And you cut those bullet clips from Super but in both instances they're scratched by the bullets like Black is here(who doesn't even have Goku's full strength by this point). 3 Replie(s)

They had a Kakarot that knew about training and exploited zenkais with his immortality. That's a huge factor for their growth.

That's because Goten has a choice, he has a peaceful childhood, something Gohan never got. Also: Future Gohan is far from acting like a scholar material.
So there is no "Gohan at his core" because he didn't experience anything yet. And these three won't change around him like Piccolo did, they're not training to defend anything or anyone, so this Gohan is already different from the other two we know.
Part of the reason Vegeta was spared on Earth was because Goku saw good in him. He wouldn't have spared a threat that he knew could get stronger just like him. When Frieza tried to attack him he immediately killed him(he thought he did).
Goten and Gohan are just two completely different people. When we're first introduced to Gohan he's shy and timid. Goten was always more like Goku. It was like his spirit reincarnated into him.
Future Gohan is an outlier who has been forced to be the savior of his world against a consistent threat. There's no society for him to be a scholar of. But Trunks even comments on how Present Gohan got to live out what Future Gohan wanted.

Part of the reason Vegeta was spared on Earth was because Goku saw good in him. He wouldn't have spared a threat that he knew could get stronger just like him. When Frieza tried to attack him he immediately killed him(he thought he did).

She doesn't create inventions solely for profit. She invents things to make things easier. The only vain thing Bulma cares about is remaining young. Where is the evil and selfishness in that?
Kururu said pretty much everything. Bulma in OG Dragon Ball wasn't even that bad. Yes, she's loud and does things for the gag, but that's less on her and more on Toriyama's writing as a gag manga artist in an age where fan service was blooming.

That rule was only if they were reviving a lot of people and the Dragon Balls have been upgraded multiple times since then. Plus, if I recall correctly her death is pretty recent.
